ROR Brides (Riu Ocho Rios)

Recommended Posts

Im getting married at 5pm on July 2nd. Kiesha told me I should try to take some photos with my bridal party and my mom before the cremony. She said after the ceremony I should only have photo's with my husband and family photos. My photographer works with an assistant therefore he would have taken all the photos of the groom and his groomsmen. Kiesha says I have more than enough time so Im guessing so should you.

Ours at Mammee steakhouse was similar but our glasses had a blue rim around them and we had charger on the table under our plates.  We scattered a few gems and such around as well and they provided candles.  It was very pretty.  Our waiter actually set ours up for us but there were no other dinners in there but us.

The pools are open to everyone regardless of your room type. The only thing that someone staying in a standard room may not have access to are some of the specialty restaurants.

Does anyone have a name/email of a DJ that is used for ROR?  Keisha told me to send her a playlist and she will forward the information.  She didn't tell me or give me the contact information of the DJ she was forwarding to (but she was able to quote the price...hmmm??)  and besides I wasn't planning on emailing her a full playlist for 4 hours.  if anything I will bring a few CD's with me.  But not lay out music for the DJ.. he's getting paid to do that!  so any referrals would be nice.

We're making CDs (as to the original plan of Ipod) and labeling the order we want them in... 1st dance, bouquet etc etc etc...  We'll be there a few days (4) before our wedding, so I'll find him LOL and tell him :)  But then again - we only have about 20 people coming...

No problem.  It came up when my bf was booking her trip, and she opted for the deluxe wing - she was saying I won't have access to it LOL I knew it was just the restaurants, but wanted to be sure so I don't look like an ass LOL

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
