I just got back from my wedding in the Mayan Riviera where Sara did makeup for myself, my four bridesmaids, and my mom. She was fantastic.  Her hair stylist, Abilene, was great as well, both such sweethearts!!  I`d recommend coming with pictures of the exact hairstyle you would like as Abilene was good at following the photos.

 

I would not hesitate to recommend them for hair/makeup.  Please put any concerns you may have aside - it was a long day of prep but was well worth it as both Sara and Abilene took the time to perfect their work and make us look our best - Sara`s smile was comforting as she applied the makeup, as she said she smiles when she is pleased with her work. You'll be surprised how fast the time flies too.  I do not have photos just yet as the wedding was only 5 days ago.

 

Thanks again, Sara and Abilene, for being a special part of our day.  You are both so sweet and all the girls loved spending time with you.

Glad everything turned out well.  I'm looking forward to my wedding in one month, I know that Sara will make me look like a star. :)  I haven't chosen my hair style yet.  I thought I wanted curls in my hair, but I recently got my hair curled and I live in Houston.  In 2 hours my hair was completely straight, the humidity in Houston right now is the same as Cancun.  So I might end up getting an up-do to make sure my hair doesn't mess up with the wind and humidity.

Thanks for the photos, Matt! And thank you everyone else for the feedback. You just re-confirmed everything I thought I already knew about Sara - she's wonderful! and I have my full trust in her.

 

Although, Sara I've also been emailing you since the beginning of April. I haven't received a response. I've been emailing on your saratamargo.com email address.. When you get a chance, I have a few questions if you could get back to me. Thanks :)

 

Also, I didn't realize she would fly in - I thought she was local to the RM. I am only getting trials on myself as well as wedding day hair/makeup for me, and hair for both mothers. Sara confirmed my date knowing this so I hope it's not an issue! My wedding date is June 17th - Matt is she still going to be staying with you?

Hola Adrianne, Sara is amazing and I'm sure your wedding went well.  Sara is now on the BDWF as a vendor and thanks to her clients, she keeps getting more jobs!  Saludos!

Sara was my makeup artists and I couldn't be happier. I am so glad I got her and my bridesmaids and mom loved her work as well. Sara and Abi (hair) are not only extremely sweet, they are very professional and creative. They came to my hotel and did my hair and makeup trial and I absolutely loved them. I recommend them 100%

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
