What a great day to get married!  How are your plans coming along? 

 

My std's went out in June and our group booking deadline was mid-August.  I'm going to send out formal invitations with rsvp's in January to everyone mostly because we have a lot of unsure and last minute booking people.....and also because my mom thinks it's only proper etiquette ;-)

Question to my fellow May brides...has anyone started buying for their OOT bags?

I have bought a few things (so far mini lint rollers, band aids, aloe, sunscreen) but I am wondering if it's too soon to buy the AdvilTylenol etc Thought, will that be expired by May 2012 and will the aloe bottles dry up by then?

Anyone else have these concerns? I was going to buy sanitizing hand gel from bath & body works but thought, is it too soon? I think I am panicking or trying to put off buying till later! lol

I actually am probably not starting until it gets a little closer, so I know how much to buy.  I am sure there are expiration dates on things like Tylenol, etc...but honestly, I think you will be ok!  A lot of that stuff doesn't expire for at least a year or two.  I have that has been sitting in my fridge for a couple years.  Should be A-OK!

I haven't purchased any OOT items either.  When I'm shopping I do keep an eye out for sales on things like mini aloe's, advil, etc, but so far I haven't really seen anything worth getting especially since I would like to have a better idea on the number of people coming.  I have a feeling that I'll have better luck buying stuff online.  I'll probably start in Jan/Feb for items like bags and mugs/stadium cups.

 

Is there anyone out there getting their invitations done?  I have a ton of Etsy favourites, but haven't contacted any of them or made a decision yet.  I know there are a lot of threads on this already, but if anyone has any current recommendations I'd love to hear them.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
