I'm doing the same thing...I had the pleasure of visiting Iberostar Rosehall last year, my fiance and I stayed at the Suites property and to be frank, there's not much difference in the two resorts.  The Beach property is the location for our Fall 2011 (10.8.11) wedding.  We chose the Beach, because like you, I'm hopeful that the lower price point will be more attractive to our guests and those that wish to upgrade can do so on their own.  I can tell you that all of the hotels are very nice and no one will be disappointed at either of them.

 

Iberostar is a classy resort with beautiful grounds and great amenities among the three hotels.  You will love it!!!  CONGRATS and good luck with planning!!!  R~

Great idea, I've been thinking of starting one too.  It would be even better if the OP would be willing to update the initial post, pasting everyone's username and wedding date.  it would be so helpful for those of us looking to share photographers or decorations, or just to meet up. 

 

My date is Nov 16, 2011 at the Suites. Seems so close yet so far!  No one's booked yet, but the dress is ordered

Starrysim, Idk but I didn't see it, but that doesn't mean it's not out there. LoL I'm getting married in Oct and only eight people have booked out of the 40 ppl I Invited so don't feel bad. I ordered my dress too. This weekend I'm ordering my sister /bridesmaid and my daughter junior bride dress this weekend so don't feel bad. I have heard people usually book as the date gets closer. I send out Save the dates in Jan. So go figure
