Hey, just found this forum and love it. Not sure who you are booked with for hair and makeup but I just got back from having my makeup and hair trials this weekend. I worked with Stephanie Ford for makeup and she could not be any more perfect. I felt like I was about to walk the red carpet. Hair was also amazing. I used Eugent whom was recommended by Stephanie (just a FYI)

I found it varies quite a bit (from shopping around before I hired someone). My coordinator's fee was US $1,250 and that's with me booking most vendors myself. Honestly I was hesitant to spend even that, but it's been the best money I've spent during this process - she's earned every penny and the wedding is still 5 months away. I'd have paid more if I'd known how helpful she would be.
There's also a delivery and setup fee for my chairs, canopy, cocktail tables, etc, of which I am sure she gets a good portion.
The other coordinator I was considering was between $2000 and $2500 - can't remember exactly - but she did a lot less on the front end and a lot more when the wedding gets closer (like communicating with vendors, etc, which I didn't really need). Then I think Celebrations had a package that was like $5000 and that was way more than I could have spent.
Hope that helps.

Me and my fianc© I are debating between Grand Caymans and Naples. Both places we will use the Ritz for the full reception and wedding. He loves the Caymans my only hold back is passports for everyone coming Naples we will not have that problem. Grand Caymans have homes you can rent weekly as well to cut done on the cost of rooms. You can also have you wedding at some of them. I will look the link up and post it !! Good luck

I have hired Stephanie Ford-Ramoon to do my make up along with my mom's and MOH. She's really sweet. Can't wait to work with her.
I am working with the on-site coordinator at Grand Cayman Beach Suites so her services are included with the package which will vary depending on the add-ons (flowers, extra layer of cake, etc, etc.).

Hello fellow Brides,
We are planning a Carnival cruise for next January (2014). I am hoping to get married while in Grand Cayman. I am having a hard time finding some place to hold our wedding as we are on a limited budget ($2500). We are going to have about 20 guests. I loved Grand Old House but they told me they would not work with me unless I booked through Carnival directly and their prices are outrageous!! I loved Grand Old House because their packages were in my budget. I have also been in contact with Marina at Grand Cayman Beach Suites, and she seems super helpful. Does anyone have any advice on pricing, locations, etc? Any help is appreciated!!
Thanks!!!

Any past LUCA brides have advice on vendor meals? I didn't really realize we were supposed to feed the vendors until I googled it. I'm worried about having enough space for them to sit with guests, and the cost of dinner is going to add up quickly if we feed them the same meals as our guests. Anyone have tips or want to share how they are handling?
