I second Sunshine Suites! We got a block of rooms for our guests and Keira is wonderful to work with.    Cute property and free brekkie and wifi!  Can't beat that and you will love their pricing. It's more than 50% cheaper than the cost of one-night stay at Grand Cayman Beach Suites where our actual wedding and reception will be.  We are shuttling our guests over using Tropicana Tours.

I agree that it's been too quiet around here!  I think I will just leave it to the guests if we decide to invite everyone to the rehearsal dinner.  The rehearsal is going to be the only "offsite" group activity for us, and it looks like that may end up being family only anyway.

I don't even know if we're actually getting a rehearsal at GCBS, but I do not have a wedding party other than just my MOH and a BM. How's the rest of the wedding planning going? I know it's kind of slow for most of us since most of the "action" doesn't start to happen until the 90 day period before the actual wedding.

We did book our flight though!  Prices are good to get to GCM from the East Coast it seems.

I rented buses (mini coach) to pick/return everyone at the airport and to transport to different venues.

Thanks!  I got a quote from Tropicana Tours and I will check with Majestic as well. We're still undecided about the welcome party, if we want to do it off site or not. It will depend on how many guests we actually have coming.  I will definitely need transport to get guests to GCBS from Sunshine Suites for the wedding though.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
