I love my TA. He can be a little slow with his responses but he is a cop too so I try to be understanding.  He has been a TA for 11 years and I feel like he really knows his stuff.  I LOVED Paradisus Palma Real but the prices were just too ridiculous! I couldn't do that to my guests and then I still would pay an arm and a leg.  I feel like RIU was a good second choice b/c it is big and beautiful and has a WOW factor for your guests to feel like they are some where SPECIAL! My TA agreed with me he never mentioned Paradisus because he felt like their prices are just too much. Hope that helps! Best of luck planning! If you want my TAs info I will PM you.

Was anyone else told you can only confirm a private reception  2 months before your wedding? Does that make any sense? hissyfit.gif I mean I understand first come first serve or based on availability. But I want the confirmation so I can go ahead and book a DJ!! What did everyone else do? Just book the DJ and hope for the best???

Congratulations on choosing your wedding date. My wedding will be July 18, 2012. Did you choose a private reception? We are having around 110 guest so we will need a private reception. I'm a little nervous about the DJ and photographer let me know if you get any details On the extras and private reception.

Wow you are so lucky to have that many supporters of your wedding! Did they tell you that you were confirmed for a private reception? They told me they won't confirm until 2 months before the wedding! So annoying!  I am probably going to go with the hotel photographer because we have a family friend also taking pictures. I'm in the process of booking DJ Mannia. He is a fan favorite here on the website! Hope that helps! Let me know if they confirm your private reception...which I'm sure they will with that many people! lol Is reception going to be at the steakhouse?

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
