And yes, the resorts are just about 5 minutes apart. We stayed at Negril, but there were guests that a stayed at Sandy Bay and they came back and forth frequently. The only thing is the shuttle does stop at a certain point in the evening so you could need a cab. I know you will all have beautiful weddings so try not to stress!!!

Side note: Make sure you go to Rick's Cafe!!! The sunset and water is to die for!!! Also, go on the Catamaran cruise if you can. We went on the sunset one actually with some Sandals couples and it was one of the high points of our trip. It is a blast and you get to see parts of the island you otherwise wouldn't. Ours actually did stop at Rick's as well, which was awesome because we loved it there so  much!! Happy planning!!!

We are going to be getting married at Beaches Negril but I was wondering for the single groomsmen and such if it would be a less expensive option to stay at Beaches Sandy Bay.... I wasn't sure about the cost difference if there really was one and how far away they were from each other. You answered pretty much everything spot on!!!!! So there is a shuttle and they wouldn't have to pay to spend the day at Beaches Negril for the day? Would they still get the all-inclusive benefits at the Beaches Negril resort?

You have Beaches Boscobel(In Ocho Rios) Beaches Turks & Caicos(In Turks & Caicos), Beaches Negril(This is literally five minutes from Beaches Sandy bay also much bigger and more expensive so I have been told) then you have Beaches Sandy Bay. Beaches Sandy Bay is smaller than Beaches Negril and it is cheaper as well. As in Packages are you talking about Wedding packages? If so they are all the same because they are all part of the beaches/sandals packages. Also if you stay at Beaches Sandy Bay you can take a shuttle to beaches Negril and enjoy their resort for free as well. I am getting married at Beaches Sandy Bay next year and I can't wait to go. If you have any more questions please feel free to ask away.  I am very knowledable about some of the things regarding the resort because I have been planning my wedding for a couple of months now and still have over a year to go. HA HA. So please feel free to ask whatever you would like to know and I will try and help you. :-)

Nope it is totally free. They can spend the day at Beaches Negril for free. Also they will still get the all-inclusive as well. For example my FI and I will be in Negril a day before everybody and we plan to eat at one of the restaurants at Beaches Negril we won't have to pay anything because we are staying on Beaches property(i.e Sandy Bay). We also plan to take some of the chidren that will be there to the water park at beaches Negril has as well. So basically you are good. :-) Let me know if you have any more questions. Have you booked your wedding yet?

Hey ladies! @Future MrzMalone: My friend was working with a pretty limited budget and a fairly small guest list (about 12 or so) and did the BB theme with a one hour reception. She used a hybrid of a dj and their Ipod. It came out great! The h'ourderves (I know I spelled that totally wrong, sorry ;) were very good, they had champagne ready for all of us, the servers/bartenders were excellent and attentive (I think there was almost more of them than us!!). They made everything very personal, included some local Jamaican touches, and provided a microphone for speeches. I really can't say a bad thing about any of it. For her situation I thought the timing was fine, they kept everything flowing but we never felt rushed. We all then went to the fancier of the restaurants and all sat together and had an excellent meal. Depending on the amount of guests you are having and how important it is to you to have your dinner very private, the 2 hour may be the better option. I am sure the 3 hour is very nice, but honestly, with how much fun the resort is I don't know that it would be worth the extra money, unless of course you really had a lot of guests. For our wedding next April I think I am aiming for the 2 hour with a steel drum band (just spoke with another bride who really enjoyed them, and they do play everything current and any requests). I am also going to do the BB theme, but with upgrades such as a flower petal aisle, arch, and paper lanterns, etc. I think it is a lot more economical especially since the other themes are $500 each added table whereas BB is only $100. That way you only pay for what is really important to you and plus you can mix and match. Also, don't let them pressure you into booking ASAP, because they are going to want deposits and payments, which is silly considering it is never too late to add anything, even once you arrive!

On a side note,I don't know how many of you had had the opportunity to visit any Sandals or Beaches resorts before, but you are in for a treat. This will be my third trip and I am hooked. From the moment you arrive with a silver platter of champagne and cool wash cloths during check-in, to how special they make you feel at every encounter, you won't want to come home. I know I never do when I am there and am always planning my next trip in my mind before I even leave. I know I mentioned it before, but try to make your way to Rick's Cafe and the Catamaran cruise, they were so awesome! We also did the ziplining, which was a blast. Congrats and good luck to all of you and let me know if you have any other questions!!! cheesy.gif

    • Another option is to find an app that allows for group talk. This Wedding Party App looks pretty neat. https://apracticalwedding.com/wedding-party-app/
    • Hi Everyone, So, I was cleaning out my closet and realized that I never sold off my extra wedding OOT bag stuff from our wonderful DW.   46 Daily Spanish for Dummies 30 Pool colored OOT fabric bags - approximately 13in x 13in. They lay flat.  I used them for our wedding and they were perfect for everything we needed to fit in each bag. There’s a slight shade variation in the group; I’m guessing some were cut from a different bolt of fabric.  They are also a little wrinkled from storage and will probably be wrinkled from shipping. I have three additional ones, but they somehow got something on them (likely toddler related). If needed, I can try to wash it out and send those as well.
    • I’m getting married in six months to my foreign girlfriend. I was advised by a friend that one of the things I need to do before saying I do is to get a prenuptial agreement. Basically it’s supposed to protect my assets and properties in case my relationship with my future wife goes down the drain. I don’t know though if this is an acceptable practice when marrying Kiev ladies. I don’t want to do it if it would be insulting on her end. I need advice on this. Please help me.
    • So we are currently looking for an all inclusive resort for the wedding. We have 60 guests and found all the Dreams resorts as options and all of them gave us a quote and discounted price since it’s off season etc. Resorts in Punta Canta gave us a reasonable price, Dominicus gave us a really good deal then La Romana Resort and Spa gave us their regular price and so hard to negotiate. Will someone tell us how special is this resort that they won’t give us a good discount when all my guests are staying in their resort for 5-8 days. We are bringing $$$ in their resort and not give us a discount?  What is so special with this resort?  Can somebody recommend a beautiful resort?
