No, I haven't picked it yet.. I've gone to three stores so far. I'm waiting for the Brides Against Cancer Sale Brides Against Breast Cancer

they will be in L.A. in October, if I can find something there, I'll take it. If not, I've found a dress I really love but is a little bit more than I wanted to spend, and I'll still have about 8 months till the wedding.

Thanks Ladies for all your help! I really need to order my passport!

yeah, i'm less than 6 months....haven't done oot bags (don't know how many), can't contact wc to finalize menu, flowers, etc (tho have been in touch w/ her supervisor), going to send out invites w/in 2 weeks, don't have shoes, hair appt, etc...

do have invites almost done, bought dress, bridesmaids/groomsmen done, FI done, registry done, place booked and plane tickets bought.

now i'm panicking! i thought a lot of this should be done once we're actually at the resort...?

Hi

I'm also 10 months out, all I have done is confirm the date with the hotel wedding planner, booked the air travel and hotel, started making a invitation list and looked for invitations. Looked on various websites for my dress and my bridesmaid dresses, sort of done one of these free wedding website thingys but now my other half is trying to do one on our own website, so not sure which one to use now but other than that nothing else except join this web forum to talk to everyone about it.

Thankyou all for your advice and suggestiosn so far!

Valerie

Thanks Yari, something else to freak me out!! Crap. I am around 5 1/2 months out and haven't done half of the stuff on the list. I'm such a procrastinator! I need to get my butt in gear here.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
