Very exciting to make all that progress. I am having a Bon Voyage party at my house Saturday and will be giving everyone their out of town bags luggae tags etc. I figured since the majority of our guests are local that would work out best! :) It certainly does creep up on u!

I need to get my local guests pretrip packets delivered, which basically means driving all over Chicago to hand them out, and I need to start putting together an OOT bag mock-up so I can see what I'm missing, but I think I just ordered the last little bit of what I need for my bags this weekend!

Leaving for Miami 5 weeks from tomorrow, holy crap!!

Hi ladies!

I'm cranking out my wedding projects, too! LOL. I put together our favors last night (personalized shot glasses & matchbooks in an organza bag with a Thank You tag). I'm waiting for the last item for our OOT bags to come in (first aid kits) and then my OOT bags will be done.

I still need to finalize my music (only thing I'm waiting on is DF's song with his mother), my needed photograph list, purchase/assemble my luminarias, and DF needs to buy his gifts for his guys.

I have my boudoir shoot on Sunday, which is exciting/nervewracking, lol.

Favors sound cute! Similar to one of the things we're putting in our OOT bags, except we're doing guitar picks instead of matchbooks.

I also need to start working on an iPod playlist for our AHR. Why does that task bug me so much?!? i keep putting it off...

Yay for the BD shoot! I had mine a few months ago, and that little book is burning a hole in my nightstand! I need to make a cute tag and wrap it up. I already asked one of my BMs to deliver it to him on the wedding morning and she's excited to help out. She said she's going to sneak a peek before she hands it over LOL

Don't be nervous, tap that inner diva, and don't forget to put on earrings and accessories for each outfit change like I did! rolleyes.gif

I just did a massive amount of printing for my OOT bags! Seriously, when FI is out I get so much stuff done!!

I printed monograms for the front of the welcome packets, Carnival photo releases for the cruising guests, chapstick labels, pashmina tags and keycard holder inserts.

As soon as a few packages arrive this week, I'll be putting together my oot bags! I can't wait to have these done and off my chest.

Here is a quick pic of the keycard holder inserts, one version for the guests cruising with us and one version for the guests meeting us on St. Thomas:

Here are the pashminas rolled and tagged (sorry the pics is so crappy, i'm keeping them in a plastic bag to keep them away from the kitties):

Great job acireta!!  Did you design all those labels yourself?

We are bringing all of the items for the OOT bags ourselves.  We are only having 15 guests come with us, so not too much to bring.  We packed up the suitcase last weekend and everything for that fits into one!  Hopefully, that means just brining one extra bag down with us.

Deniden...have fun with your boudoir shot!!  All the pictures I have seen of those so far have turned out amazing!!

I am of to do some shopping this morning.  Need a couple of dresses, one for the welcome dinner and another one for our ceremony at home.  We are getting married at home first because getting married in the DR is alot of work, translating back and forth.  Fingers crossed I find something!!

I did all the labels myself. Except this morning I realized, I need ONE friggin extra of all the cruising stuff, becuase FI's mom is bringing a friend and I don't want them to have to share a bag. I'm a dummy LOL oh well, easy fix.

We only have 15 people on the cruise with us, so you've given me hope that we won't have too much stuff. I'm hoping everything fits in my little roller bag, so I can use my big bag for all my clothes and stuff. Fortunately we're driving to FL, so we don't have to worry about baggage fees and weights and stuff.

Post up some pics if you have a successful shopping day! :-)

These look AWESOME!  I love them.  I am planning on doing key card holders/tip money etc, too!  May I ask where you found these holders?  Also the pashminas?  I am seeing these in a lot of OOT bags and I am thinking I want to go that route as well!  Thanks for sharing.  You sure ROCK IT when FI gives you BRIDE TIME!  rockon.gif

Thanks, girlie!! I got the pashminas from Sears; they were the most affordable place that didn't have a minimum order since I only needed 12. Everywhere else required a $200 order or a minimum of 24. They must have been on sale when I bought them, because they were $4.99ea and now they're listed at $20ea?!? Odd.

I got the holders and lanyards from http://stores.ebay.com/gcishoponline. I know I've seen these at Hobby Lobby, but way more expensive. I'm actually 3 lanyards short, so I'm glad I saw them at Hobby Lobby a few months ago!

P.S. I have 11 zipper pouches leftover, which I can send you if you pay shipping. PM me if you're interested.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
