Pictures of different areas at Moon Palace Hotel

Recommended Posts

We don't have a lot of photos of other places but we did a wedding there not too long ago and shot a gazebo which was beautiful and also the cement wall just on the beach is also another unique spot. Also photos of a life guard tower and a pier. Take a peak at our album and hopefully it can help a little?

mpweddingplan... Thank you so much for the caribbean terrace pics!! I'm so much more excited now that I have a better idea of how it looks all around. I had a site visit planned, but plan fell through. I love the view of the sunset. Can't wait! 4 1/2 months to go!

Diamond girl, you are very welcome. The Caribbean Terrace is MUCH larger than I had imagined. It's probably 120 feet by 60 feet. Maybe larger. There is plenty of room for any event. It may actually be larger than the Aqua Ballroom. There is a setup charge since it is upstairs with no elevator. $6 per person charge for a cocktail hour, $12 per person charge for a reception. Those charges must be paid, even if your room night benefits qualify you for unlimited free events. ps. That's actually a picture of a 5:45am sunrise. The coast is facing east, where the sun rises. It sets behind the resort, away from the ocean. ;) I have many more pics of the resort. I'll try to post any that may be of interest, but if anyone has a request, let me know and I'll see if I have a photo of it.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
