Hi Ladies, yes I took tons of pics and videos, but I am not sure how to post on here, I will try, but if you are anxious send me your e-mail and I will just send them to you.

The Hotel is so Lovely, the only thing I was surprised about was that preferred Club is in a separate Building, with a smaller pool, and all the restaurants are on the side that is not preferred.

The food was great, we ate at Castaways for Lunch and the Japanese for dinner, very good. The beach is in a bit of rough shape, and I am not sure why, but I believe it will be fixed soon. All the locations for ceremony and reception were great, hard to choose actually. Two weddings going on while i was there, very nice.

The rooms that I saw were all beautiful. This is a smaller resort and was crazy busy with the weddings the day I was there, but everything seemed to run like clockwork.

I have friends that live in Playa Del Carmen and they are going to find florists for me and anything else I need, so once I have all the info I will certainly pass it all on to you girls.

Please ask me specific questions, as I don't know what else to write LOL...

Still looking at Photographers but the one I am leaning towards has been featured on Style me pretty, Green Wedding Shoes, Wedding chicks, and a few other blogs.  She looks great and is giving me a pretty great deal.  I'll let you know who we decide and then see if she'll also give you a deal since she'll already be there.  I'll PM about it when I narrow the details.

Thanks to those of you who voted for my sister!! Last night to vote and we find out in the morning.  My wrists can't take any more voting ;)

Hi All,

Hope your August weddings were AMAZING! My fiance and I are getting married at the Now Jade next April (2012) and would love to hear how everything turned out! We've elected to have a civil ceremony there and are a little nervous about having our blood drawn and whether or not we'll receive proof of our marriage in good time. Any insight on these two concerns would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Now Jade brides!! We are getting married there in just a little over 3 weeks - can't wait!! woot.gif

Been planning this since Feb 2010. Pilar is our WC and she has been quite responsive to emails especially in the last little while as our wedding is coming up. We chose the Divine Package. I will post a full review when we return. Happy planning everyone!

I'm wondering if any of the recent brides shipped any items to the wedding coordinators before hand.  It would be nice to not have to bring everything with!  Also, did anyone do their own center pieces or did everyone get them through the resort?

MrsMom, it's really not a good idea to ship anything to Mexico.  It usually will get held up in customs, lost or stolen.  And many of the resorts won't hold onto your property for a long period of time.  So it's very risky to send the package at the last minute and then not have it arrive in time for the wedding.  You're much better off packing what you'd like to bring.  If you have family and friends coming with, I suggest asking if they'd mind taking little bits of it.

Hey Mrs.Mom,

I thought about shipping but decided against it. Now Jade will only get things through FedEx, otherwise you have to pick it up in Cancun. Plus FedEx will probably be more expensive then the airline's fee

I have made my own centrepieces and am bringing them with. It seems they will only charge you an extra set up fee if it's something much more labour intensive then setting tables and hanging lanterns.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
