Hey Ladies.  I had some travel agent craziness this week, but managed to find a new one that agreed to match online offers as well as book everyone in our "group" so we still get the benefits.  What a headache!  The last question that I have is with airport transfers...do you all know if you still get a complimentary transfer regardless of how you book your stay at the Now Jade?  I'm getting mixed info and I want to make sure that everyone has a shuttle to the resort and doesn't have to pay an arm and a leg.  Anyone know the answer?? Thanks

I am using Diego Munoz who was recommended by Gonzalo Nunez which so many brides rave about here but was booked for my day.  Diego has been great though and his pictures are awesome.  You can see them here. www.rivieramayaweddingphotographer.com.  I am still figuring out the flowers, but I am pretty sure I am using an outside florist.  The resort flowers are too expensive. The catch is I will have to go pick them up bc there is 350 charge for an outside florist to set up on the resort and I am not paying for that - but we will see.  The florist I have been working with has a website you can see here  http://www.vanessajaimes.com/.

Hope that helps.  I am still figuring out this gift bag thing for my guest. I can't believe that I am in within 90 days. Times flies.

Hi Carneice... just wondering what you ended up doing for flowers? At your suggestion i checked out Vanessa Jaimes and really like what i saw on her website!! Just wondering if the cost ended up being less than the resort? and if you have any pics that would be great!!! Thnaks

Hey Shills-Have you booked a photographer yet?  I think I am going to end up bringing one with and was thinking that another bride may want to split the travel cost to make it less expensive on both of us!  Let me know if you're interested.

We're giving out most of the bags to our local guests before we leave home so we don't have to lug them all there.  Happy planning!

Off the subject, but I need your help!  My sister is in the final 5 to win her wedding and she needs votes in the next 24 hours to win.  There are 5 girls in my family so my dad would appreciate the support ;)  She's in the lead now, but every vote counts!  http://mix108.com/ulitimate-wedding-giveaway-voting/  Vote for Laura and Dave! I've been voting so much that I think I may get carpal tunnel...oh the things we'll do for family.  Thanks ladies!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
