Deep Sea fishing in cancun

Recommended Posts

Can anyone suggest any reputable companies for deep sea fishing in cancun? Anyone have any experiences with this? My FI wants to go with all the boys, I have contacted one place "Aquaworld", they have been very quick to get back to me, but the boys have to take the bus to get there, which isn't a big deal, but I think it would be easier if transportation was included.

Or at least maybe I'd feel more comfortable booking it if I knew of anyone that used this company for an excursion

Our last trip to Cancun all the boys went, it was through Aquaworld. They caught some huge fish, sharks tried getting the bait, some got away. We heard all the "fishing" stories, no complaints! They brought some back and the hotel chefs cooked it for us! It was awesome, my son was so proud to eat it!

My man and his Dad both got very sick. Even with ginger and dramamine, they say they fed the fish more than they caught them. My man especially was pretty bad, but he knows he is prone to motion sickness. Everyone else was fine and loved it.

Yay!!!! I'm so happy to hear that you went through aquaworld and that they had a good time, that makes me feel so much better to hear about someone else's experience. They literally get back to me within an hour of me emailing with a question, so that aspect has been very good!

Thank you so much!

we are using this company. they leave from a marina near our hotel. I've heard it's great. they catch marlin immediately, wth no travel time. it may be too far from cancun.

thanks morgan, that one sounds really good too! My dad is so excited to go, I really want to make sure they'll catch some stuff. I just emailed them to find out how far they are from cancun. Aquaworld is about 15-20 minutes away, so if this one isn't too much further we might have to look into it more.

Thanks!

8 years ago, we went to aquaworld and we had lots of fun there! You won't regret it ! We went on the regualr public bus (1$ for both at the time- each way) and we had no problems at all. We stayed at the Oasis and it was a short bus ride to Aquaworld. Since Cancun has many hotels, they are usually a bus stop in front of each hotel. maybe that is an option for you all?

Aquaworld is definitely one of the bigger and more reputable watersports companies in Cancun. From Dreams Cancun it would only be a 10-15 minute bus ride to get to their facility. A cab from there would probably take about the same amount of time, but it would cost a lot more. Aquaworld also does a lot of other stuff that everyone else may be interested in link para-sailing, waverunnners, jungle tour, snorkeling tours, diving certification classes, etc.

If you have any other questions, I would be glad to help.

Thanks Jason! I saw aquaworld on another site last night and it seemed like a bigger place, which made me feel more comfortable. We are leaning towards aquaworld for several reasons, I think they are the best option for them. I noticed they had lots of other stuff to do too. If I think of any more questions, I know who to ask!

Thanks again!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
