Majestic Elegance---Summer 2011

The only restaurants that requires the dress code are the Italian and French restaurants.  The rest of the the restaurants are pretty casual.

I thought I read a review where someone had their dinner at the steakhouse and had their first dance there and speeches. Not sure what u can do?

Thanks Mandi

I thought it was all the restaurants except for the Sea and see. I have been reading too many reviews on tripadvisor.

You looked great BTW. nice picture :)

I'm starting to panic... on the majestic website whenever i try to price a trip now it says: We are sorry to inform you, that the hotel is no longer available for this period. Please try with other options.    wtf.gif     So the only people currently booked are me, my fiance and my parents.... there are still rooms on expedia, but i'm starting to freak out that the resort will sell out.  Our wedding is June 29, i didn't think i'd have to worry about this in the summer!

Oh no! Did you call the hotel yourself to try to block some rooms? How about working with a travel agent ? It seems easier to go that route and they can call the hotel for you. Don't stress right now. I know its easier said then done. Sorry. BTW i found that it was really expensive on the actual site. really, try a travel agent.

Islandbride, I don't want to stress you out even more, but I had the same problem with booking the ME.  We would have had a lot more guests attend our wedding had it not booked up.  And the ones who could find rooms with travel agents found that the prices were really high.  For some reason, ME is always booked.  But on a good side note, while you are at the resort, it never feels crowded.  Hang in there and good luck!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
