many photographers such as myself offer great discounts built into the package rather than having you straight out pay for all travel fees plus additional full cost of a package. I always customize packages so basically travel is complimentary :)

I fell in love with my photographer. i chose photos by LAM for my special day. and let me tell you that when i saw the photos, its like i relived the whole entire day minute by minute. I swaer you can hear the laughter from the photos. All the photos are alive artistic and beautiful and VARY affordable. Sheldon and Lindsay have a real talant. and the only sad thing is that i cant go back and take even more photos. take a look at their web site and see for yourself.

I feel like I searched and searched for a good videographer that was decently priced. I ended up booking Elite Media Concepts because out of all the videos we watched, I felt they were the only ones that provided the quality and workmanship I was looking for. I know they were over my videography budget, but without many alternatives, I figured it was worth the splurge. Other brides on this forum have worked with them in the past...and I'm sure they can verify their quality.

I feel the exactly same way as carajoe08. I really did hesitate for months about booking Elite Media, but finally did and am cutting things in other areas (decorations, flowers, etc) to make it work. For me, when all of this is said and done, I am only going to have the photographs and videos, so I would rather splurge on those than on flowers. I did look into a few of the other videographers, but the only other one I liked was booked for my day. So I am splurging and just thinking how cool it is going be to relive the day on our 5th, 10th, etc anniversary and hopefully share it with our kids and grandkids someday.

About how much does Elite Media Concepts charge? My future hubby is a photography/videography teacher so he has really high standards. I tend to think the video isn't an area we should splurge on (I feel like we will watch it a few times and then forget about it). I would definitely rather spend more on photos than video.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
