How soon to start?

Well I should come clean - I am pregnant! 8 weeks today, due end of November, and so far I feel great! No sickness, I'm not overly tired, it's so weird because I don't feel pregnant at all. I keep second guessing myself. Our first ultra sound is next Tuesday, I just want to hear the heartbeat and then I'll feel much better! We are both so excited and I can't believe it happened this quickly! I count my blessings for sure. :)

Congrats!!!

My FI and I already have a daughter who is 16 months. We never planned on getting married though we knew we wanted kids. So we had one then I thought we should have another BUT... then he thought we had to get married if we want another.. so here we are planning our wedding :) We plan on having another around this time next year :) and our wedding will be in August 2016 :)

I plan on trying to conceive right after wedding. My son is 9 and our daughter 3 so I want them close in age. We miscarried before the engagement so now we are putting off trying for the wedding which at first bothered me but now I'm happy with the decision

We are thinking about starting about a year after our wedding.  Having one last out of the country trip and then going for it.  Just don't want to wait too long since I will be 33 and he will be 41 when we get married, but at the same time want to enjoy married life a little bit first.

We're going to start right away. Our thought is to start one month before our wedding, but I'm questioning if two months early is pushing it. I don't want my dress to not fit! :)

I also thought about starting right before the wedding but then my friend got pregnant and had the worst morning sickness from weeks 6-12 that I decided it wasn't worth the risk. And besides, I wanted to drink all the Pina Coladas I could while at an all inclusive resort for my wedding.

I got married July 2nd. We're currently on Cycle #2 of TTCing. Fingers crossed!

We are putting it off for a few more years still...I'll be 29 next month, so probably starting to try in 2016 sometime. We still want to do our big Europe trip in 2016, so my guess is I'll go off my birth control sometime before then.. maybe we will have a Europe baby! :)

We aren't having anymore babies!

Fiance doesn't have any, but I have (soon to be) 9 year old twins...  I also had my stomach fixed due to their damage from being in my belly LOL so we figured that would be all for not, and we are close to having small amounts of freedom due to their age. not sure we want to start over. It does cross my mind from time to time as something special we would share together, but generally I still end up at no!  So I will live thru all of you :)

Twins! That's awesome :). I agree, it would be hard to start over after 9 years when more freedom is right around the corner haha :)

I don't know exactly when we will have kids, or if we will. For now we're more focused on ourselves and enjoying this new stage in our lives. We don't live together so it will be a change that we will have to get used to first. I know his mom will start pressuring us as soon as that ring is on my finger because she's been asking for grandchildren for years now haha. I want to go back to school in a couple of years so if we decide to have kids it will be after that. I'll be around 30-31 by then, which should be ok.

I have polycystic ovarian syndrome which might make it hard for me to conceive but it's really out of my control and we won't know until we actually start trying. We've talked about adoption and we're both ok with it so that's our plan B but I told my fiance that I probably wouldn't get IVF. Judging by all my wedding choices I will probably change my mind later on but for now that's the plan :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
