lolol you are so organized!!! I've just ordered the last of our centrepiece items (barnwood frames and moroccan lanterns). I've never had so much difficulty ordering from the US ever!

Hey everyone, not sure why i didnt search for this thread before...but i am getting married July 8th at the Bahia Punta Cana.

I am getting extremely stressed out with the little things right now. And i told my self i wouldnt become one of "those" girls. I am most nervous about the weather.

Not really concerned if it was to rain on the wedding day, but just if it rained all week. I would feel horrible that all these ppl spent so much money for a crappy vacation.....

Hi Ashley,

I am very stressed right now as well. My dress is  still not in and I have my appointment for my first fitting June 5!  My MOH dress does not fit its to small but they have said that it can be fixed.  My final payment due for the trip is due this friday and I am waiting for my FI stocks to be deposited into his account. I think once the trip is paid in full I will be able to relax a little. The real touch florist is suppose to be sending me proofs sometime this month on the flowers so I am a little worried about that each day I do not receive an email. I am giving her till after the long weekend, then I will send an email.

Not long now!

Mine is supposed to be here end of May/beginning of June too - it is stressful waiting incase something needs fixed - not a lot of time until July comes around!!

I think I am more stressed lately because I don't really have a project to distract me, I'm just waiting - waiting for the dress, waiting for the flowers, waiting for the BM dresses, waiting waiting waiting and going craaaaazy! haha.  Oh, but, I did order the guys clothes so that's progress woohoo.

Maybe thats it, I really have nothing to do but wait, so I have nothing to occupy my mind other then wondering when the dress is coming in etc.

I have my dress right now. I have had it for about 2 yrs, lol. BUt my issue is the guys outfits. Of course my FI leaves that till now, and the outfits we bought doesnt fit any of them. We have had them for 2 months, and he decides to try them on NOW. So we are back to skratch on trying to find something because the ones we picked were a steal of a deal, and they're all sold out now.

Grrrr.

Still thinking abou the dominican weather every day!....no rain no rain no rain......

What a relief you have your dress don't have to worry about that!  Not sure what you are planning for the guys but have you checked Old Navy the last time I was in there a few weeks ago they had linen pants and shirts.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
