Hacienda Encatada Wedding

Recommended Posts

Hi ladies -

I'm starting this post to see if there are any other brides that are having their weddings at Hacienda Encatada - along the corridor?  My mom and I visited Cabo last month and toured numerous (like close to 15) potential wedding sites.  Encatada has so much Mexican charm and was by far, the most reasonably priced.  Staying in the heart of Cabo wasn't our thing.  Ana, the wedding coordinator at Encatada, is so friendly and so far, really helpful.  Let me know if you are looking at any particular resort and chances are, I have all their wedding info.  I'm happy to share what I learned.  Now that the place and date have been secured, I'm feeling a huge sigh of relief.

All the best,

Kelly

Hi Kelly,

We're just starting the search for a place in Mexico and Cabo seems to be the most convenient since we have people coming from Australia. I'd love to hear what you learned on your trip down there (I've never been to Mexico!) We don't want the heart of Cabo either. Looking for a place that has charm and is unique rather than one of those mega resorts. But we'd also love to have all the guests (maybe about 70 ppl) stay in the one place. Capella also looked interesting - if we could use their villas. Did you go there too?

Thanks!

Sascha

We recently had dinner at DOn Manuels at Capella and I have not seen anything quite as amazing in Cabo as Capella Pedregal.  This venue is seriously extraordinary.  Have you looked into Cabo del Sol?  Cabo del Sol is far from the "mega resort" look. They only do one wedding per day, which means that you have total privacy for you and your guests.

Sascha-

Email me at kellydwood@yahoo.com if you want more specific information.  I'm happy to answer any questions you have.  We are having 75 guests (numerous from overseas) and everyone is staying at Hacienda Encantada.  They gave us great all inclusive rates.  I too loved Capella Pedregal but it was way out of our budget (we felt it was too much to ask of our guests).

I also looked at Cabo del Sol and it's beautiful, however, we had to factor in the extra expense of transporting our guests to/from.  We didn't want any of our guests drinking/driving and we really wanted all of our guests staying at the same resort.

Hacienda Encantada definitely has a Mexican charm to it that is hard to find at other locations in Los Cabos. It is owned and designed by a family out of Guadalajara and they did a fantastic job. It is stunning for wedding photographs as well.  It is one of the only hotels that has breath taking vies of the arch, is close to town but also not right in the heart of it so you have a nice relaxing resort. We have done many events at Hacienda Encantada and have our next one there in March so if you have any questions about it please feel free to ask away. Happy planning! ~Kym

The WC is Ana Guajardo. She used this email to contact me: weddings@haciendaencantada. She was initially very quick to respond to my questions but has since been very slow. I decided to go with Melia Cabo Real. I had the wedding quotes and room rates but I must have deleted it. Sorry! Good luck with your wedding planning.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
