Hi JenK!

 

Congrats on your upcoming wedding! I was just in Cabo in Nov and it was gorgeous! What a perfect backdrop for your wedding! I wanted to introduce myself and let you know that after my own destination wedding last year, I was inspired to create travel-inspired destination wedding jewelry from barefoot jewels to necklaces and beyond.

Wow your dress is STUNNING!!!! Amazing dress! Yes I have mine too it is Maggie Sotterro Madison Marie http://www.maggiesottero.com/dress.aspx?style=A3337. We have my h2b and his best man's trousers and shoes but nothing else yet. 

 

I want to plan everything now, so hard when it is so far away!!! What is your colour theme going to be?

Oooh yes! I bought my dress waaaaay early (last July). I still love it though. Have you got yours???

Oops, just saw this. Gorgeous dress! Here's mine:

I have planned mostly everything at this point: colours, favours, OOT bags, etc... I like to get things out of the way early! lol. We are going with orange/pink/natural colours. What about you?

Oh thank you so much JenK I am so pleased with it, I love yours too JBean, perfect for a beach wedding! And yes yours are very similar

 

How weird we all have the same colour scheme too - mine is orange and fuschia as well! I love those two colours together they look so striking... my H2B was not as convinced at first, had to persuade him :-) 

 

Have you girls decided on flowers yet? xxx

Jen K - wow, our dresses ARE super similar! Great taste! ;) Yours has the buttons down the back that I wanted though. Mine is the ties.

 

Carrie - I haven't decided on flowers yet. I saw the catalogue of flowers my resort offers, and there's more than enough to choose from when I get down there. What about you?

JBean-I agree, we have FABULOUS taste! LOL! Your ruffles are more what I wanted so I wish I had seen yours before :( But I do love mine as well :)

 

Carrie-I believe I am going to do orange cala lilies for my bouquet. For the centerpieces I am unsure-do you ladies know what flower choices there are in orange and fuschia? I think with the bridesmaid bouquet's I was thinking orange lilies and pink gerbera daisies. Do you girls think that is ok or do you feel like the type of flowers in a bride bouquet should match the bridesmaid's? I think the orange lilies will be a brighter color than the cala lillies but I'm SET on cala's! I love them!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
