The Reef Terrace site is the most popular site (this is where we were married) and you will see why when you get there.  Surrounded by the beautiful gardens and the ocean as a backdrop, you can't ask for much more!reef gazebo 4.JPG

I think it would depend on the time of day, if it is in the evening the beach is pretty empty.

Our wedding is at 2pm so I'm guessing it would be a little crowded. The Reef Terrace is pretty and I'm a little intrigued by the pier but FI made a good point about nervous (or maybe anxious is a better word) hands combined with wedding rings on a pier. That wouldn't be a good start to the marriage!!

Your pictures are BEAUTIFUL!! I am excited to read your review! Did you use the photographer at the resort at all or did you hire one outside?

              Hello Ladies,

I am also looking into having a destinatino wedding in Jamaica!!!! I have sooo many questions with the sandals resorts. But most of all I saw you had 52 people at your wedding.... How expensive was it if you dont mind me asking? IT will be the groom me and about 10 people.... Was it easier to have everyone on the resort?? HELP ME

                Hi Miss Heather,

It actually ended up being 50 people booked at the resort and 64 people total attended the wedding.  It is easier to have everyone on the resort because then they can  be included in everything with out an additional charge and having to deal with guest passes etc.

Our wedding wasn't expensive at all! But I wanted it to be simple and for everyone to have a good time.  The price really depends on how elaborate you want everything.  Let me know if you have any other questions!

                  Hi Missheather,

Sandals is a great choice for your wedding! The Martha Stewart Beautiful Beginnings wedding package is free at most of the resorts if you book a minimum of 6 nights accommodations in certain room categories.  The wedding coordinators at the resort take care of everything for you. There are basic elements that are chosen prior to your arrival at the resort. Once you arrive there you meet with a wedding planner and confirm everything. Simple, inexpensive, (just the cost of your vacation unless you choose extra items) and great fun!  Let me know if I can assist futher.

Georgous Pics Tennyt1. I noticed your sand ceremony, Did you add this to your wedding, or provide your own stuff? If you provided your own, did you have to pay $50 for them to set it up?

Dymond, Yes, they can provide if for you, but I liked the Jar that I found and choose to use it instead, and yes we did pay to set up everything.
