We are having a fairly small group of people travel with us which allows for a bit more $ to be allocated to our OOT bags.  We'll be personalizing for each couple, FI's dad will be getting his preferred brand of golf balls personalized, my parents will be getting some sort of snorkeling gear, my sister will get some games and toys for the kids....

Standard items to go into our bag

- Bubba Kegs

- Tortuga Rum Cakes (local to Grand Cayman)

- Local Magazines - the Best of Grand Cayman

- Waterproof Cameras

- Typical Baggie of advil, sunscreen chapstick etc

- First Aid Kits

- Sewing kits

- Soduko or crossword books

- Deck of cards

possibly a few other little things. working on collecting stuff as I go...

cheapest i found was through etsy...  Was thinking of it myself but my conclusion was they will be heavy to pack and travel with, my guests may not have room to bring them back, the condos we are staying at provide bath sheet size beach towels.  Just my 2 cents ;)

i am doing somethings that i wished were in my oot bag when i went to a friends wedding in Cancun. there were about 2 days with rain that i wish i would have had something to do. i luckily brought my laptop... and on one of the days i went for a stroll and was popped the question! but i will be including in mine the following:

  • extra sunscreen (for the head/hair) i got severely burned even with sunscreen
  • playing cards
  • speakers for mp3 player/ipod
  • aloe vera
  • and special items in every-ones bag (like for my mother/father they will have a special keepsake photo album when i was younger) then for the bridesmaids and groomsmen they will all have individual items that represent them, for one everything will be pink, and for another they will have a handmade purse. i also found on etsy a nice lady that makes customized wine glasses. so each person will be getting one of those.
  • copy of a movie slide show that my fi and i will make
  • a personalized thank you letter
  • nail clippers
  • mascara/neutral colors of eye shadow
  • lip balm
  • goggles

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
