I am going to put something that pertains to each person in thier bag....like my FMIL is obsessed with dark chocolate, so she getting some darks choc candy bars in hers. My FSIL is a health freak, so i am gonna put some KIND bars in hers, and so on. I think it makes it a little more personable this way, and we are going to have under 20 guest so it wont be a huge PITA to add a few extra special things to each ones individual bag.

I ended up buying these citronella incense sticks off amazon. I figure they can stick them in the sand. I will dress them up some way b4 sticking them in the OOT bag. http://www.amazon.com/Citronella-120-Sticks-Box-Incense/dp/B000JWK47I/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1297652146&sr=8-3

I plan to order citronella votive candles from candles 4 less (20 candles per box):

Then I am going to put them in these little holders:

I plan to package the votive, holder, and matches together in a cute little bag with a ribbon.  After looking at prices, I think this is the cheapest way to do it and people can also use the votive holder once the citronella candle is gone.

We're trying to add some personal touches to the bags by adding things that mean something to us as a couple. For example my fi and I met in Cancun during spring break and that week we played a lot of the drinking game king's cup. So we're printing out the rules of the game on our wedding letter head and laminating them, and including an explaination of why the game is special. My fi also worked at a casino for a long time, so we're getting playing cards from that casino to include in the bags. Fi is now a police officer so we're think adding in some fake hand cuffs might be fun. We're also including pool floaties and bubba kegs - also reminiscent of that fateful spring break!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
