Azul Beach Hotel - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

Good idea! I'll ask the wedding coordinator for examples of the photographer's work. I'm going to go with one of the Lomas photographers since I don't want to pay the extra $800 vendor fee. But, I'd like to make the choice based on work quality AND cost. Thanks for the suggestion. Jenny

I hired Niccolo with Blue Lens photography and I was EXTREMELY pleased! They were willing to take the $800 vendor fee off my package! I paid the $800 vendor fee and the photographer took $800 off my package! Something to think about! Pictures are the last place you want to "skimp".
Whoa! That's awesome! Thanks for the heads up. Have you posted any photos? I'd love to see!

Hi there!! Caribe is still one of the preferred photographers at the Azul resorts. Royale Photo the other approved photographer, and it appears that Claudia Photography Studio has a couple of packages listed. They are still charging the $800 fee for outside vendors.  While the El Dorados do have more photographers, both Caribe & Royale's options are outlined in this post in the EDR/EDCR thread which may be helpful.  Here's the Lomas site with all of the options:  http://www.weddingsbylomastravel.com/planning/ Good luck, and happy planning!

Thanks for the info!

hi Anne! congrats on booking your wedding.

I would suggest starting by identifying where you want your ceremony, and what kind of celebrations you want - private dinner/reception, cocktail, private welcome dinner. etc. The venues can book up fairly quickly, so this is a good place to start.

You should hear from a Lomas wedding coordinator once they confirm your wedding date. They will help you through many of the choices!

Here are a couple of great AS resources:

Official Azul Sensatori Thread - by Murmel (Miriam)

Lomas Weddings - the official site for all of your choices/planning information. Includes everything from wedding packages, resort-approved photographers, decorations, flowers and entertainment (DJs, musicians, etc).

I'm not familiar with AS, but I do know Lomas' packages and capabilities fairly well from my own research. If there's anything I can answer, feel free to ask! Happy wedding planning.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
