mini bottle of rum could be a good idea - depends how many you need i guess and how much they cost.

Yep! That is what I am doing! I bought mini tins with a personalized sticker on it and will fill it with Jamaican seasoning. I have a tag that lets my guests know i want them to bring a little "jamaican heat" into their homes with a recipe on the back and tying it in a bright organza bag! :)

Where are you getting the seasoning from?  Can you get individual packets?

I just bought a bulk jamaican jerk seasoning from a local restaraunt supply store and filled each tin. There were also a lot of online options by just googling "Jamaican Jerk Seasoning"

I'm getting married in Jamaica in May 2012 and love the idea of the Jamaican jerk seasoning for the AHR favor!!

                  Thanks for the great idea!

I ended up getting these little shaker containers at the Dollar store for 3 for $1 and got a fabulous price on jerk seasoning at Walmart! 800g for only $2.97!  The problem being that for the life of me I can't come up with a cute saying to put on my labels?  Does anyone have any suggestions or examples of what their tags said?

                    Thanks a bunch!

I like the spice idea! I think I might base my AHR favors on the location. I'm having it at a winery, so I might do Wine stoppers or something relating to wine. The location and catering is expensive enough I don't want to spend much on the favors :)
