Costa Rica Wedding

I am new on here and I just wanted to say hi! My fiancé is from Curacao and I am from the Florida Keys. We wanted a small wedding so we decided to do a destination wedding in Costa Rica! We are planning on renting a villa and having about 30 guests attend our wedding, maybe in November 2011. We don't know where yet, but we are trying to do our research. My fiancé just wants to be able to surf. =)

Hi! Have you looked into a photographer in Costa Rica yet? I am a photographer based out of Texas, but I am looking for a Costa Rica wedding to add to my portfolio, and have an awesome offer for any couple getting married in Costa Rica. I'd love to chat with you if you are interested! My website is www.kendaljessup.com. I'd be happy to chat on here, or by email!

Endearing,

Hello. Congrats and thank you for choosing Costa Rica for your wedding.

Here are some suggestions of where you can tie the knot and let the FI go surfing (a surfer myself).

Top of the list is Tamarindo, he will be able to surf close by (the rivermouth, Playa Grande, Langosta - 30 min away, Playa Avellanas & Playa Negra. For hotels, Capita Suizo is beautiful and quiet (on the south end of Tama beach), Tamarindo Diria is AI but on the busy beach. Lots to do in Tama.

Wedding at Marrakesh Langosta (Cala Luna Point):http://web.mac.com/crwphotographystudio/CRW_%26_El_Velo_Client_Websites/hillary_%26_jason.html

Next is Malpais. Great surf all over and lots of cool rentals. It is a little hard to get to (Ferry boat ride, bad road) but part of the adventure. Lots of activities, nite life and good eats.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
