I am new on here and I just wanted to say hi! My fianc© is from Curacao and I am from the Florida Keys. We wanted a small wedding so we decided to do a destination wedding in Costa Rica! We are planning on renting a villa and having about 30 guests attend our wedding, maybe in November 2011. We don't know where yet, but we are trying to do our research. My fianc© just wants to be able to surf. =)

Hi! Have you looked into a photographer in Costa Rica yet? I am a photographer based out of Texas, but I am looking for a Costa Rica wedding to add to my portfolio, and have an awesome offer for any couple getting married in Costa Rica. I'd love to chat with you if you are interested! My website is www.kendaljessup.com. I'd be happy to chat on here, or by email!

Congratulations on your recent engagement and plans to marry in Costa Rica! If your fianc© is looking for some good waves, he will be happy on the Pacific in November. Along with consistent clean waves, you will have a great selection of luxury villas to choose from.

Hello. Congrats and thank you for choosing Costa Rica for your wedding.

Here are some suggestions of where you can tie the knot and let the FI go surfing (a surfer myself).

Top of the list is Tamarindo, he will be able to surf close by (the rivermouth, Playa Grande, Langosta - 30 min away, Playa Avellanas & Playa Negra. For hotels, Capita Suizo is beautiful and quiet (on the south end of Tama beach), Tamarindo Diria is AI but on the busy beach. Lots to do in Tama.

              Wedding at Capitan: http://web.mac.com/c...rah_&_sean.html

Wedding at Marrakesh Langosta (Cala Luna Point):http://web.mac.com/crwphotographystudio/CRW_%26_El_Velo_Client_Websites/hillary_%26_jason.html

Next is Malpais. Great surf all over and lots of cool rentals. It is a little hard to get to (Ferry boat ride, bad road) but part of the adventure. Lots of activities, nite life and good eats.

              Wedding at Casa Capitan:

                Hey Endearing

I am a November 2011 Costa Rica bride as well. We are renting Casa de las Brisas in Manuel Antonio (www.escapevillas.com). The villa sleeps 22 people maximum, but they have other villas in the same area.

Let me know how you make out with your planning.

Welcome!  I'm a Costa Rica bride as well, there are so many beautiful places its so hard to decide where to have the wedding.  I'm getting married in January 2012 and we still have not decided on a location.

For surfing I would definitely suggest Tamarindo Bay. It has very 50's LA feel. Very good place to get married at and a great spot for surfing.
