Anti-Chair Sash - Ideas?

Recommended Posts

@@kmk2016 - I was so pleasantly shocked at the price! It comes out to like $7/chair... not bad at all. My mom HATED the white chairs and insisted we upgrade... I wanted to anyway, so I was like sure! Haha

Definitely beg them... another $14 is nuts. I'd even maybe rope in the groomsmen to move them if you wouldn't think they'd mind!

Totally wouldn't mind I'm sure but would need to be done while our bridal party pics were happening sadly. The only issue is that our cocktail reception is taking place in the same general area as our ceremony- so it would require their staff to move the chairs past our guests into an elevator and then over to the reception location and may be disruptive. Not sure what to do at this point. But I'm not keen on spending $28 a bum!

Maybe you could tip your WC to do it or see if you can negotiate some type of move fee? $14 just seems ridiculous. If not though, the white chairs for the ceremony will be nice too. If our change fee wasn't so reasonable, I wouldn't have bothered with the ceremony chairs

Yeah that's my plan... Since at the site visit when I asked the onsite WC she said they could do it for a fee- I plan on pushing the issue with a little cash! Here's hoping. Since the sky deck at my venue has since changed the gazebo from chocolate brown to white- it won't look totally icky with the white chairs... At least they will match. I may come up with a couple plans to dress up the chairs just in case.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
