Anti-Chair Sash - Ideas?

Recommended Posts

We're probably going to use pomanders on the chairs against the aisle. I'm thinking one every other aisle and alternate on the other side, if that makes any sense. We're getting white wooden garden chairs and I like them without many things on them.

I hate bows as well! I'm thinking of having the sash tied on the side with a starfish pinned. I've found some cute ideas online! post-278186-140497968501_thumb.jpgpost-278186-140497969564_thumb.jpgpost-278186-140497970546_thumb.jpgpost-278186-140497972102_thumb.jpg

Not a huge fan of the chair sashes either. We're upgrading to the gold Tiffany/Chiavari chairs. Luckily our resort is actually reasonably priced for it - $6/chair and only a $50 move fee to use them at the reception as well. I'm still figuring out what I want, but I think we're going to add flowers like this to the back row for the ceremony or every other row of aisle seats:

And I love this for the bride/groom chairs during the reception, but I have to price it out first. We're thinking about maybe bringing silk flowers and do it ourselves, but not sure about the greenery

So we might do something simpler like this, and maybe still hang some type of Bride/Groom sign on it:

Sooooo jealous!

Mine are $14 each and according to my offsite WC, another $14 to use them at reception. Needless to say I am ordering them once, and then begging the onsite team to move them for me to the ceremony space. (It's down 4 flights of stairs so I'm not optimistic but worth trying.) worse case? We use them only at reception and plain folding white chairs at the ceremony but it's definitely not my vision.

@@kmk2016 - I was so pleasantly shocked at the price! It comes out to like $7/chair... not bad at all. My mom HATED the white chairs and insisted we upgrade... I wanted to anyway, so I was like sure! Haha

Definitely beg them... another $14 is nuts. I'd even maybe rope in the groomsmen to move them if you wouldn't think they'd mind!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
