I am so happy you were able to get your time changed. I hope that makes your special day even better. For you girls who still have noon ceremonies. there are some great ideas of things you can do. I bet you will be able to make the most of having an early ceremony. Plus you'll get to see your groom earlier. Our ceremony isn't until 4:00, and my FI refuses to see me before I walk down the aisle. I wish I could spend more of our wedding day with him. I think that is a big advatage of having an earlier time.

Thanks, Brittney, for putting a positive spin on it

That is great to hear. Maybe we can have an early, early breakfast together before our ceremony begins.

        Let's see what happens!

For those of you who do not like your ceremony times, make sure you follow up with Carolina to make sure ceremony times are actually confirmed. I too had a problem in the beginning and after double checking with Carolina, I was able to get the time that I really wanted. Many people book their dates but never go back to actually confirm their times.

              Lizz,

Chandlyn told me in an email that Mammee Bay is available between 12-4. The only con is that it will be buffet vs. a platted meal, but you and your guests will be sectioned off from other guests. Some of my family members offered to fix and serve plates to everyone. I think that was a great idea.

Even though I got a 2 pm slot, I still have a long wait until 6:30. One of my friends used the Riu's Hors D’ Ouvres menu to create a menu that included a variety of finger foods, a desert and fruit. I emailed it to Chandlyn to get a pp price. I didn't get a response back yet.

I will do the hors D' Ouvres on the beach for an hour and the 2 hour disco. This will have everything ending at 6. I scheduled the dinner at Mamme Bay for 6:30. I am making it optional and informal. I want those who would like to start enjoying their vacation to do so. I plan on leaving the disco a littler earlier to take a shower and slip into comfortable clothing for dinner.

Hope this idea helps some of you!

              Happy planning

Hey ladies. I was on Riu's website today and found these 2 contacts for sailing. They may have some better prices if you are planning to take your group out.

                      Sailing
                      Cool Sailing
                      (876) 974-2446
With three cruises to choose from, you’ll have plenty of time on the beautiful Caribbean waters. Sail to Dunn’s River Falls, have a Sunset Cruise or an evening cruise with dinner and live music. Daily.

                      Heave Ho Charters
                      876-974-5367
Take a sea-taxi and you can cruise in style to places like Dolphin Cove or Reggae Beach. Plan your private charter on any one of four vessels. From fun, snorkel, dinner or sunset cruises. Also speed boat tours to Cuba.
