My brother got married in Florida, my now sister-in-law gave me my welcome bag and present before we left for our trip and although I LOVED the present I really wish I would of been giving the same experience as everybody else and received my oot bags when I got down to Florida and walked into my room. I am planning on giving my girls their presents at our rehearsal dinner!

Just a little input!

Thank you so much for this feedback, I was wondering if it would kind of ruin the moment.

  • 2 weeks later...

Well Dominiqueamber, since you brought it up I thought I would share my DIY wire name hangers.  When I saw them I too was determined to DIY them myself.  I bought the hangers at our local dollar store 3 for $2 and I even got the wire there too, only $1.25 for A LOT!  I thought I would get it before investing in other wire because if I mess up too bad I am not throwing money down the drain.  I first attempted to do it with my bare hands.... it worked OK but not as tight as I would have liked.  I invested in a pir of jewelry making needle nose pliers at Michaels (under $5 on sale this weekend) and went back at it! I wanted to make one for my Best Friend who is getting married on the 23rd of this month and I am her MOH.  I will be holding a surprise bachelorette/shower for her on the 20th and want to give it to her then.  I finished hers (may attempt it one more time, let me know if you think it is any good lol) and then did a mock up of my own!!!!!!! I removed the wood bar that was attached in the hanger (for pants or something) and attached the wire there.  I considered doing them all wire but like the "durability" of the wood hanger as you know that it will hold the dress lol!!!  I lined the underside of the hanger with ribbon (her colour is pink for mine I just did ivory) to give it a more finished looked and to cover up where the wire is attached.

Let me know what you think ladies!!! I am considering doing MOH and BM ones for my wedding but not certain.  I could also do their names.....

I think your friend will really love this especially if you made it.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
