Bridesmaid Gifts - Creative Ideas?

Recommended Posts

Hello my fellow brides! pinkie.gif

I'm getting married at the Sandos in Playa Del Carmen this November and have 5 BM's! I have been trying to get some ideas for non-traditional BM gifts. Something they'll love obviously and something easy to get down there.

Here is one thing I'm doing for each of them. Since they're all married already and will be taking their BM dresses on the plane with them as carry on, I thought this was neat!

Or their Maiden name... I thought about that too... I would probably just do their maiden name or their first name alone...  :)

I found this too, so cute!

I forgot to add... one of the first things I did when I picked the girls in my wedding was had a little get together.  None of them really knew each other, outside of hearing about them, so we did a little game night at my place.  While they were all there I had made up some questions already and one of them was what are your two favorite colors?  From the colors, that's how I picked the fabric for the bags!

I think if you have them divide (like I did too), it just helps a little bit.  I mean, they are going to have a lot of interaction with each other as time gets closer to the wedding.  They'll be planning your bridal shower and bachelorette party together (I assume), and then they will spend the time at the wedding together... it's just easier to break the ice sooner rather than later!  It was also a great "excuse" to get the girls together to have a girls night and have some fun, with good food!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
