I need help! I don't have a photographer. (11/4/11 wedding)

Recommended Posts

I found Juan Carlos on a google search.  I got married on January 15, 2011 and have amazing memories because of Juan Carlos.

We communicated via email before we got to our hotel (Sandos Playacar Beach).  We set up a time to meet at the lobby of my hotel to discuss his style of work.  He was really nice and helpful.  He told me his intent was to make my day special and stress free-words to my ears!!

The day of the wedding was very stressful, but Juan Carlos was flexible and took pictures of the guests and the groom.hit.gif

When I was ready, we got some shots of the final dressing and walk to the wedding point.

During the ceremony, Juan Carlos took many candids and captured our day from many perspectives.  When that was all done (WE WERE MARRIED) the fun began!

We took an incredible number of shots with many different groups and alot of couple shots.

He was generous with his time and got everything to us very quickly!!  We recieved a disc of ALL of our pictures, edited in two days.  We also had 150 6x8 printed photos included in our package!  We were very excited!  People remark on the quality and value of his work.  You must use him for your special day!!  He is on Facebook and his website is http://www.juancarlosmagallon.com/

-Signed a happy newlywed!

We got married on 3/3/2011 and we used takeitfoto as our photographers... they were great to work with and really nice people, great with communication, not too intrusive, and of course the pictures came out awesome.  We had two photographers (one male, one female which is perfect) for the whole day - they don't charge hourly - and they gave us plenty of pictures and their prices are totally reasonable.  Their website is http://www.fototakeit.com/foto_take_it/Home.html

We highly recommend them - can't say enough good things about them, all of our guests loved them too.

Congrats on your engagement.  I have extensive experience in weddings and destination weddings using a photo-journalistic style.  I would love for you to check out my work and contact me to discuss something that would work for us!  My wife and I love traveling for weddings- we make vacations out of it!  www.finepointfotography.com  Best, Patrick

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
