I need help! I don't have a photographer. (11/4/11 wedding)

I will look at Samuel Luna too.

I spoke to Claudia and the only one available in her group was Freddy Ku and he had great pics but his photo editing style was my least favorite. The good news is that I am a procrastinator so I haven't booked my date yet. I am thinking I may be able to find a date that Citlali has available and then book the resort.

I need to hurry up though if I want to get married in May 2011.

She's totally worth it!  And spoke perfect english which really helped the process.  The day goes so quickly and turns into a giant blur.  The only thing you have to remember the details from are the pictures so its worth it to spend a little extra.    Good luck!!

uh oh now you have me nervous too! My wedding is 11/5/11 and i don't have a photographer yet either because I'm waiting on an amendment to contract stating i can use outside vendors. I was also talking to La Luna and originally they were available for that date, but I haven't been in touch for a while and never formally reserved that date since i didn't think it would take so long for my contract to get squared away.

Dont fret just yet!  When we first booked our wedding, I immediately set off to find a photographer only to have serious regrets about the quality later (as I learned more about photogs).  I ended up switching vendors a few months afterwards.  I highly encourage you to look at vendors based abroad - I found many to be very reasonably priced and offered more bang for the buck.  Some photographers love to travel and/or are looking to build their destination wedding portfolio so they may be able to provide competitive rates.  Dont be afraid to ask!  good luck :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
