I really wish they'd change the pictures on their website to reflect these new chairs so at least people would know what they were getting...

The pictures in the post show the new plastic ones.  They're not terrible, but I just really loved the look of the wooden ones that are in all of the pictures on their website and in all of the materials they sent me.  As you said, it's going to be amazing though-- no matter what we end up doing with chairs and table clothes, etc.

looks very poorly on them that they changed the contact info without notifying anybody. also i am freaking out about the chairs too! now another added expense to get the nicer ones! it never ends lol

We're not planning on getting table clothes right now, but I would guess they're extra.  Here's what Caribbean Celebration carries if you're interested in getting table clothes and chairs from them: http://www.weddingsandeventsinpuntacana.com/?page_id=35&album=5  They were super speedy and responsive so I'm sure if you asked they would give you a quote quickly.

-Simple Decoration: $ 180 - A big bouquet of flowers at the Bar  & Decoration with sea shells & Marine Stones

- Tropical Decoration: $ 250  A big bouquet of flowers at the Bar & Table cloths &  Decoration with sea shells & Marine Stones

- Super Tropical decoration: $ 300 - Floral arrangements centerpieces per each table - decorated with sea shells &  Marine Stones.

She sent this to me last January, so I'm not sure if it's up to date.  I have to say, Daniel has been super responsive since I figured out I needed to email him thanks to this forum.  He's also asked me about the different email I was using to contact Flori, so perhaps they were unaware that there was another email and that's why our emails got dropped.  I can post more details and pictures of the boat when I get back from my wedding a few weeks if you're interested

well my wire transfer bounced back due to "account closed!!!" all the banking info flori gave me has been closed and I paid 35us to wire that 850$ deposit there, like i dont have extra money to just be throwing around due to there stupidity. So I'm taking my 850$ deposit money and looking into the jellyfish- what a disaster! Like thanks for informing me that you had new banking information BEFORE I made my deposit! I have a feeling the pervious owners sold the boat and now its heading downhill fast! P.s I saw some pictures that I think we're recent and the upper level white couches looked like there getting dirty and the white marine plastic is all stained. I wonder how the service level will be affected without flori there as manager. :mad:

Jamielynn55 -- We used La Barcaza for a sunset cruise as a thank you for our guests and had a wonderful time!  I have pictures of the boat if you would like to see them.  I had originally dealt with Flori and then a few days before we were supposed to leave I received an email from Daniel saying he was their new coordinator.  We setup a time to meet in the hotel lobby so we could pay the balance.  The day of the sunset cruise a bus arrived very promptly to pick us up.  We had some guests that were not back from a previous excursion so the driver allowed us to wait for about 15-20 min and then we had to leave.  Daniel was gracious enough to give us extra swimming time in the natural pool since we were late getting to the boat.  The food was absolutely delicious and was actually better than anything we had eaten at the resort.  Daniel and his crew did everything they could to make our night memorable.  They kept the drinks coming and then after dinner they got everyone dancing.

I would love to see your pictures, I sent daniel an email asking about the ipod dock and I never heard beack from her.... Did they have a docking station on teh boat??
