Getting married at Catalonia Bavaro Beach, Golf & Casino Resort - April 21st, 2012 - we have our date and our photographer booked (http://www.caribbeanemotions.com/)

We also set up a web-site using eweddings.com - it is a great way to spread the word, get travel details to people (I was getting a little disorganized trying to e-mail all the details).

Looking for some advice on receptions details, wedding favours (do you don;t you?) and any other tips that anyone can offer.

Did you notice that they are completely changing? They are no longer adults only and all inclusive.

What was your photography budget Torilynn, if you don't mind me asking?  My budget is $1,000 w/o TTD session.  Am I being unrealistic?

Phil's price was really reasonable for what you get.  He is doing full day coverage (approx 12 hours) and TTD the next day.  We also looked at HDC Photo, Katya Nova, Photo Souvenir and a few others.  When we worked out the costs they were all about the same as Phil (Katya is significantly more, she does amazing work though, just out of our budget!)

Phil's nephew Michael may be available? He does amazing work too!!!

Hola! My fiancee & I have our studio right next to NOW Larimar. The place is gorgeous! They are remodeling and renovating everything right now, bringing in new staff and improving service. It's an awesome place for a wedding! We're planning to go there to hang out on a day pass sometime soon, I'll post a photo review. I have heard from friends that the food is really lacking though... But usually, resorts try harder when it comes to the reception meal!

Let me know if there's anything I can find out for you in particular :)
