Our wedding is now 4 months away from today!! Just wondering have you guys booked a florist yet? My hotel (Iberostar Rose Hall Suites), is contracted with Ta Flora. Tomorrow will make a week since I emailed TF asking for quotes re what we would like for flowers etc. Of course we have not heard back from them. I want to reach out to other florists, but I believe our hotel will charge us a vendors fee. What is everyone else doing?

Hey Islandgirl,

I am starting to wonder the same thing. If Tia Flora is not responding to us I think they should wave the vendor fee if we use someone else. I will be emailing the planner today. I have only received 1 email from Tia Flora and that was about 4 months ago. I CC all of my emails to Iberostar so they are aware of all of my attempts.

I had to find a different person at Tai Flora to speak with.  Her name is Jennivie and she is pretty good at responding (may take a day or two but she normally responds). Her number is 876-795-2500 /01.  Last I spoke with her was last month, and they were having phone line issues (my calls were going to a law firm instead of their office) but I think they have it straight now.

Hey Ladies... How is all the planning coming? So we sent out save the dates in February and so far we have 40 people booked so I think that is the number we are gonna have. I'm sending out formal invites in June just in case people may want to come. So far- invites, dress, tuxes and silk flowers are ordered. I have my birdcage veil, jewelry and shoes already. Attendants have all ordered their dresses and I am so ready for these last 4 months to be over.. I think I am pretty much done, all I need is favors and maybe table decor. I'm not sure if I want to decorate the tables since I really think it might just be a waste.

ok so let's see...

I am doing a TTD two days after the wedding from my honeymoon spot in Negril...I do not know where we are going..I am leaving that up to the photographer..but I told her what I was looking for and wanted.

I had to change a lot of stuff do to budget...so I am keeping it really simple..because at the end of the day...I am not going broke to make sure everyone else is having a good time.

NO OOT BAGS....this one really hurt the most...but it had to be done...plus I still can't get an accurate head count..and I am not going to try and track down 100+ grown adults that cant seem to respond to the invite or emails

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
