How do you like the food from Nutrisystem? I was debating on trying it but didnt think I would like the programsfoods.

Good luck at the gym! Maybe try to do some classes or something that you find fun or dont mind doing so its not so much as a chore to do.

I just started the Nutrisystem meals (mainly because I'm super busy and hate cooking, so I like that its prepackaged for me). And this weekend I hope to join the gym. Working out is something I despise, so I'm hoping that I can stick with it!

I started Insanity on Monday and I am trying to follow the eating plan as close as possible!  It is difficult, but am hoping for some results by the end of the 2 months!  Good luck ladies!!!  I am definitely going to need motivation to work out 6 days a week and not drink so much wine!!  HA!!!

Sharon - Nutrisystem has its good meals and its bad meals. I am a very picky eater to begin with, so I am doing their vegetarian plan. What is nice about it is that you can customize your plan, so this first month is me trying all of the various meals, and then for next month I will only pick those meals I like so it should be easier. For me it's good, because I always have a quick and easy meal to make, and there really is no excuse for me now when I'm busy of just going through the drive through. So far I've done it about three weeks and have lost 7 pounds.

Thank you thank you my dear!  I keep telling myself that, and I know I can do it!  I did take before pictures and wrote down my measurements.  Unfortunately, we don't have a scale at home, but I am more concerned about inches than weight right now.  We will eventually get a scale to help track our progress, though.

So glad I found this page. I just got engaged in Oct. We are getting married in Dream Palm Beach Punta Cana on Dec 1st 2012. I've been on WW for 1 year - lost 30lbs. I could have lost more but hardly worked out and slacked off a bit after we got engaged...where was the logic there! lol lol

I hope to lose another 50lbs by the wedding! I need help and motivation ladies! I went to the gym today - first day back and did 45 mins on the treadmill. fast walk and some jogging. I hope to keep it up.

I want to start trying dresses on soon, but want to lose some more weight first....

You can definitely start the dress finding process and just hold off on buying it.  I think that is a great motivator!  Good luck and 30 pounds and keeping it off is awesome!  You should be proud of yourself!  cheer2.gif

I've also decided to get serious now that I am less than 4 months away!!!! I am going to kick start my weight loss with the Fat Flush plan by Ann Louise Gittleman (http://www.annlouise.com/23/diet-detox/4/). It starts with a 2-week detox to cleanse your liver and kidneys (no dairy, carbs, alcohol, nuts, sugar, low-sodium..). I lost about 30 pounds with it when I was in college and now I just need to lose about 10-15 more to feel beach ready! After the detox I'll switch to a healthy eating plan and workout 4-6 days/week.

Keep it up 2012 brides!!! :) :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
