    Hi Ladies,


    I'm about a year away from my wedding (having some issues with flight details so haven't nailed it down yet), but FI and I are planning to use this year for gradual changes in lifestyle with the main goal of looking better naked!  That's basically what it all comes down to, right?  :)  Although looking great for a beach wedding is an awesome motivator, we really wanted to make longer term changes (like all of us i'm sure!).


    I've been doing Turbo Jam for the last month or so and have been really enjoying it.  I think I need to work some more on what I'm eating as well though because apparently it's 80% what you eat and 20% how much you exercise!  


    Anyways, I've seen a few people asking about inexpensive dvds for working out and i just thought i'd point out the torrent sites (ex. isohunt.com).  lots of the videos mentioned are available there (P90X, Turbo Jam, Shred and others i'm sure).

      Hey Ladies! What a great thread to help keep us all motivated! I am 6 1/2 months away from my wedding and I actually got the motivation to start my weight loss and toning journey now from other ladies on this website, so thank you for that. I am 3 three weeks into INSANITY and I absolutely love it, and I am already noticing results! For anyone who might be considering insanity, I would highly recommend it. Before insanity I was regularly attending kickboxing classes at my local gym, and it is the best workout I have ever done in my life. The only downfall with kickboxing is the price, which is why I decided to try insanity. Anyways, I just wanted to wish everyone goodluck!

        So I have not checked in in awhile, yesterday was 10 weeks until my wedding! I have lost 20 lbs all together, I had my first fitting today and they said they should have ordered it 2 sizes smaller! They have to do a lot of alterations, I am pretty much done now trying to lose weight because of my fitting, but I have gone down 3 sizes in jeans so i feel really good about that also. Good luck to all those brides who still have more time to lose weight

                hey there, I started weight watchers a couple of months ago and Im down 12 pounds. Its slow but steady. keep at it!!

                  I am about 2 montsh away from my wedding...where did the time go???? I need to kick my butt into hyperdrive to lose these last 15 lbs and tighten it all up.  I lost a little bit of my mojo thanks to Thanksgiving and all of the fattening foods, I took 6 days off from eating healthy AND working out.  I have just been sitting there like a bump on a log allowing all the fat to settle back on my body :(.


                  Back at it today, my heads back in the game...I have my dress fitting at the end of the month EEK! And my BD shoot in 6 weeks! Nows not the time to lose focus!

                    Ekk! I'm definitely in need of some accountability! I'm about 5 months away from my big day and have just started heading to the gym on a regular basis.... well I should say I had started... then last week I kinda slipped and I haven't been in a week... I'm looking for something else to do on my days off from the gym, that I can do at home. Any suggestions?

                      I need to get back into the swing of it as well.  I somehow manage to find so many other tasks instead of exercise.  Funny how that works...
