I've been going to the gym in the morning before work. After work I feel like I'm missing out on time at home if I go. It's hard getting up at 5:30 but by about 10 minutes into my workout I'm forgetting that I'm tired and then I feel energized by the time I get to work. Plus I have a gym buddy who loves the early mornings too, which helps!

I'm soooo glad I found this forum!  When I got engaged (4 months ago) I told myself that I was going to start my workout plan....I'm having such a hard time getting motivated?!?!?  I feel like I spend all my free time on wedding stuff and research!  I saw that some brides are going to run a 5K, so I decided to get off the couch and sign up!!!  YAY!!!  I hope to report back more good news soon!  Good luck girls!!!!!!

Thanks Bellajovie.... We can all do this cheer2.gif.

I took a Latin Dance class at the gym today.  It felt really good.  But by the time I got home I was tired and STARVING.  The only thing I had in my fridge that didn't take a lot of preparation and time, was left over pizza.  Now I have the guilts.  It's my fault tho because I went to the gym right after work.

I would love to do a 5k run but my first goal is to last more than 3mins on a treadmill.  Does anybody drink those energy drinks/shakes before they workout?

Also whats the best way to slim down your thighs. I find that a lot of leg workouts tone my thighs but don't take any inches off....and I keep loosing weight in my boobs BangHead.gif (and I already don't have much going on in that dept embarrest.gif)

Good job ladies!!! I really have to start logging on more often - this would for sure give me much more motivation.

I was really bad with food this past weekend but today is day 2 of being back on track. I think the morning workout is a great idea I'll have to wake up a little before 5am but I'm sure that in the long run it will be worth it.

HI ladies! I'm glad I found this forum! :) We don't have a date set yet, but looking at Nov 2012, so I have a long way.  I only want to lose about 10 pounds- my main focus is toning and slimming down my thighs! I want to look HOT in a swimsuit! This will be a great thread to help me know what works and what doesn't (there are so many videos out there).  I will definetly check out pilates if that tones thighs!!

Good luck ladies and keep up the hard work!

I believe supporting one another - bride to bride is a very good thing. We are like a union in the fight for love and the perfect ceremony every girl is dreaming about. I have been planning my wedding since I am 12 years old and when I marry I want to have that distinct feeling of being a princess - at least for one daz. And therefore, I want to be beautifully thin and shining because it will be the most beautiful day of my entire life :) so losing weight is just a matter of my inner motivation in order to not stand in my own way to fulfill my personal duty of being the best, the most beautiful and the most happy bride I could possibly be :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
