Samantha,

Thank you so much for this post, you don't know how much I needed to hear that. I started the 30 day shred and let it go. I came up if every excuse in the book not to work out even though it's only 20 MINUTES!!!! I'm so getting back on track.

So today one of my bridesmaids and I start and 8 week program with Jenna Phillips who is suppose to be an awesome trainer. The best part is we got a deal on Life Booker Loot and only paid $10 for the  sessions! I really think this will really help get me in gear and get this weight off!

I echo the comments on Jillian Michaels...she is a tough woman! But the workouts are amazing. Good luck everyone!

Hello to all of you beautiful brides! I'm so glad I just came across this thread b/c I'm needing some extra motivation. I'm getting married on October 6th and I have about 6 months or so before my first fitting. I'm hoping to lose about 20lbs..ok at least 15lbs before the big day. I've read through a few of the post and will continue when I get home. I love the support that you all offer one another and I'm here to cheer you all on. I've had a membership for the longest while and just started using it again since my best friend has joined. She's been a great support! My goal to start is to get in there at leasr 3x a week. My weakness is of course food; I love it and it clearly loves me..lol. But I hope to get some ideas and also share some of mine to help you out. Go, Brides, Go! We ALL can do it! :D

I'm in the same boat as you...I'm getting married on Oct 19. You are actually getting married on our anniversary. My goal is to lose 60lbs before the the big day. I love food!!! So getting on track with eating healthy has been a big challenge. I've been reading Oxygen(women's fitness) magazine they have great receipes that are healty and tasty so I don't feel so deprived their sister magazine is called Clean Eating there are some great recipes in there as well, so you may want to check that out. Oxygen also has simple at home exercise routines that help burn fat and sculpt your body plus the pictures and stories keep me motivated.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
