i heated up an 8 oz glass of water, had the tea bag soak for 15 min.......then poured it into a 70 0z container and mixed other ingredients in it for the day.

i have changed my diet........the drink was just an "idea".........LOL

it didnt work for me, made me constipated after 3 days........if that makes any sense.

I just wanna lose enough weight that my sides and belly dont fold over my bikini.......like they do now!!!

Ya know how when you gain weight you constantly had to pull your jeans up over your FAT in your front, that is where i am at right now......i just wanna be comfortable again......

My age at 39 doesnt help either.........LOL

Thanks for all the input girls..........i love this forum....rockon.gif

I think I benefited most from changing my diet to include more vegetables and eliminating processed sugars and breads. We were allowed whole grains and oats for carbs. I lost 10 pounds over the course of the diet.

I think if you make a serious lifestyle change and eliminate most of the crap we tend to consume, you will be much happier with the results.

But most importantly, take a serious look at your weight. It is a healthy weight, so maybe you just want to increase you activity to redistribute how your body carries the weight. Losing anymore than 25 pounds will probably put you into the underweight category.

Thanks for the input!!

This did not work for me personally.

I did try it for 3 days only to become constipated........

Go figure???

Someone told me if I did not have any water weight to lose that it was sucking water out of my intestines making me constipated....not sure how true that is............Now this may work for someone else........

I didnt work for me.......but then again, i didnt stick with it for a week.........but i cant help it...........I had to POOP.....LOL

What they told you was essentially true...it's not fun feeling like that especially for more then a day! I hope you are able to find a more pleasant and healthy way for your big day! :)

Oh yeah, i count my calories..........calories in calories OUT.......i keep it simply and clean food

this was just an experiment thought i would try.

But since it didnt work for me,,,,,,it may work for others.......or else i dont think Julian Michael would advertise it....she indicates its a good thing to do for like exampl.e....................A WEDDING........but does not recommend it for actual weight loss...

Thanks girls

WATER WEIGHT!!  Ugh

I AM NOT PROVIDING THIS INFO TO SUGGEST ANYONE DO THIS.  DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT DO WHAT I DID!!!

Well being a previous competitor I found out exactly how much water I carry and a majority is in my lower body.  I dehydrated that last week leading up to the competition.  It was not fun, extremely unhealthy and unsafe.  I was miserable!!!  But I had to do what I had to do to step on that stage.  Anyways...15lbs of water fell off in a few days and it was crazy.  I didn't look like myself and my body didn't feel like my own.  I have very big muscular legs/thighs thanks to 20+ years of soccer.  I had to cut out the water to see the definition in my thighs and glutes.  I was under supervision from a professional and this was for a specific goal.  The moment I stepped off stage and drank the gallon of water that I was dying to chug....it all came right back on.  A majority of our body is water and we need it to function properly.

Since I have gone thru this and I have seen how is works and affects my body I would not be doing this for my wedding.  It is almost impossible since we will all be at all-inclusive resorts eating and drinking days before the wedding.  Please do not try to lose water weight for your big day.  Do what you need to do to be happy with how you look and feel before you go.  And then enjoy all the food and drinks you can consume LOL!!

I don't think I could ever do this.  For me a big sign of dehydration is headaches.  I get migraines and a lot of them I know I probably could have prevented by ensuring I was properly hydrated.  Not fun and they make me moody and miserable.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
