Hadn't heard of this company but I just checked out their website and I like their work. As far as decor, I am currently working with Caribbean Celebrations.

I was suppose to get in contact with my planner and no luck, I called again and nothing angry.gif.  my wedding is coming up and i do not have anything plan, not even a location.

I called a couple of weeks ago try to get in contact with Susan Mangan the manager and i was told she is not longer working there, wow no manager so i got more worried about it becuase they are so unprofessional, no comunication, Maylen did not call me either and no one contacted me at all.

I called the resort last week and they told me to call Miami office becuase they can not help me with my planning however i got the managers info, I will call her next week

her name is Gretel del Junco and her email is [email protected], I am tired of calling and no solution or any contact with anyone there, I am getting furstrated.

Maybe Gretel may do something about it however i haven't hear nice things from her, I hear this from a travel agent.

God Luck guys sad.gif

try to get Gretel's extension so i can call her and solve my problem.

Hi,

I have not been in touch with Marylin. I am dealing with a Geradine Flores from the Miami location. She said the rates for 2013 are not available yet. I originally filled out the wedding proposal on the HR website and they replied a few days later saying the confirmed my date. But my GF is a member of Palace and was able to get me a wedding package through her membership. However, we have heard nothing other than confirming we havent recvd. a contract or anything yet. As a matter of fact Geraldine emailed me to tell me the judge wasn't available for my time slot so I gave her a new one and havent heard back yet and that was last week. I thought planning a destination wedding was going to be easy, I guess I was wrong!.

Thanks,

Kelly :-)

where are the brides finding the "saphire collection" and other collections for the wedding? Can someone post a link with photos and potential prices, only thing see it the Colin Cowie or complementary packages, theyre nice but i would like to know of other options

Hi Vinarum,

I selected the Sapphire collection too! Are you using the blue huppah fabric that is included or did you decide to upgrade to the shear/chiffon option? I was thinking of upgrading but don't think it's worth the additional $650 they were trying to charge.

The quote is per night per person for double occupancy

Hi!

Is your quote $250 per night for double occupancy? Or is $250 per person /per night? I was having an issue when first booking because it was a little unclear.

I went through www.destinationweddings.com and my experience has been wonderful so far. we got our date, group rates and contract within days of beginning the process. Our destination wedding specialist acts as a liason for us and was even able to get 2013 quotes, and answer questions from the resort about accomodating my dietary restrictions, activities availible for guests, theyre arranging transportation for guests to and from the airport for arrival and departure and so much more. As if that isnt good enough they also keep track of fluctuating prices and if at any point between now and the final date that my guests will have to be paid in full the prices go down their bill will be adjusted. the only stress i have had is choosing colors and stationary with the Fiance  and that is more than enough stress for me!

Jay,

What destination wedding site are you using? Any help would be awesome! Thanks :-)

both of you feel free to contact me if you have any more questions on the process, my email is [email protected] ~Jerriel Berry my destination wedding specialist is Camille and she is actually traveling to HRPC within the next couple of months so Im debating if ill even do a site inspection since i be working with someone in the states, its her job to see to it that me and FI are satisfied, i have full access to her (email, direct line, toll free line) and access to her managers who are very responsive

I'm slightly worried...my wedding is September 1, and I have had NO contact with anyone from the resort.  I was told three months before the wedding is when ALL the planning gets done by our last travel agent (we switched) but now I see others whose weddings are after mine...picking locations, decorations, etc...  i'm confused...any insight?  I just e mailed out travel agent.  Thanks!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
