Hi KerriAnn,

 

Are you working with an outside travel agent? I am getting married in 2014 and just received my contract which states that if I book rooms through an outside agent then the 25 room night promotion would be void.  Is this correct.  The quote that they gave me is outragous.  I am would like to work with an agent to help facilitate the booking of rooms as well as airfare.  If you are working with an agent, would you give her contact info.  I would like to work with an agent that has familiarity with the Hard Rock.  

 

Also, how was your experience with the complimentary onsite visit?  Thanks

We are in the same boat, we would like to get married on the last weekend of April 2014, the go between agent in Miami sent us a price list.....which to me is for for couples making over $250,000 a year... it's crazy. We check with Delta vacations online and other online travel sites and its 30% less! We are thinking of contacting the Hard Rock directly for cheaper prices. On our side most of our friends and family said that at those prices they would not be able to attend at a forced three night stay.... If you get answers before we do let us know if you found a cheaper way. Thanks

From what I understand you can book through a travel agent, but thay have to book directly through hard rock (instead of an expedia, orbitz, etc) in order for you to get the amenities of having a group (like the free nights, free cocktail hour, etc).  The only thing is they do not book airfare, so you are on your own for that one.  So it is wise to go through a travel agent and have them be the middle man between you and the hard rock and deal with getting airfare situated.  t

Hi! My video was  done by Mibsan Espejo, I originally hired Jochy Fersobe for video and photo and turned out to be a complete disaster, I hired him to do my wedding and last minute I was told his crew would be doing it, finally they cancelled on me last minute after much arguing and I was able to find him last minute! I couldn't have made a better decision, he was less in price and did an absolutely amazing job! I should have my whole video this month:)

For those who had a civil ceremony in Punta Cana how hard was it to get all the documentation that was needed? Translations? Apostilla......what is that exactly? I'm so confused! I'm also worried about additional costs to get all this done!
