Do you remember how many people sat at each reception table? I'm not sure if we get to decide but I thought I read it was 8 guests per table plus a separate table for the bridal party?

I'm trying to figure this out as I am bringing some of my centerpiece decorations with me so unsure of how many tables we will need. Did you bring your own toasting flutes or were they provided?

 Jen - the tables at the reception are set for 10 people. I had 61 people at the reception, so we had one table of 11 and five tables of 10. My husband and I had our own small table. I received toasting flutes for my bridal shower and brought them down with me for my husband and I. The guests all were given flutes for the toast.

We used the HRPC DJ. The company is called J&S Audio Visual. We had no complaints about them. They weren't amazing, but they were very good. I had lists and CDs given to them with any specific songs I had wanted to be played.

The collection I had was only for the ceremony. The reception was extra. The resort has an incentive where if your guests book more than 75 nights (through their group link they provide you) then you receive unlimited private functions. Since we surpassed the 75 nights, we did not need to pay the $300 per table for the reception.

Your pictures turned out very nice, congrats on a beautiful wedding!

I am getting married in November and trying to get some information on the photographer who is included in the wedding packages through the resort.

Sounds like you used the photograher included in your package? If so, do you pay any extra for addional photos? My package only includes about 36 pictures, but I want to make sure they take lots of pictures and allow us to choose our favorites. Were the pictures taken during the ceremony only or did it include some photos on the beach after?

 

Any information would be greatly appreciated ;)

Has anyone gotten any of the Colin Cowie Collections?  I have not seen any "real" pictures and I was wondering if you were satisfied with the collections.   I am getting married next month and I would also like any information on the photos that were included in the package.

 

I know that they started these collection in June/July, but I am a little concerned about why there are no comments in reference to these packages.  I choose the White Rosette. 

 

Any information is greatly appreciated.

Hi everyone!! I am a newbie bride and recently booked my wedding for March 2014 at the hard rock. I am going for a site visit at the end of this month! I am disapointed because I was told I can no longer have any of the older packages or decor and i can only have the new collin cowel packages. Did anyone else have this problem? Do you think once i get down to the resort i can work with the decoration company to make my own package? So much to think about I am happy Anyone else getting married in 2014?

I'm new to this site and so thankful I found it. I am also considering having my wedding at the HR Punta Cana in 2013. My aunt went recently and she loved it but I have been trying to get information from the Miami office but have had no luck getting any information, pricing, contract sample, etc. I signed up with destinationweddings.com in hopes they could help but my wedding specialist said he has no experience with this hotel and has been unhelpful and is pushing me to book before I have it :(

 

If anyone can help me out I would greatly appreciate it.

I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners.
