The Hard Rock Punta Cana

Recommended Posts

The sapphire collection (also diamond, ruby, amethyst etc) are the Hard Rock's old decor collections that were for 2011 wedding packages. Because some of us booked in early 2011, they are allowing us to keep those packages. I believe any weddings after June will have to be Colin Cowie collections only.

So Renee finally answered me and told me Maylen is no longer with the company and because my wedding is between the 1st and the 15th someone will be contacting me 90 days before my wedding. All these inconsistencies are really starting to drive me a little CRAZY!

Dani,

My wedding is in May and I was not in contact with my onsite wedding coordinator until 3 months before. At the three month mark I called the hotel myself and requested the contact information of the WC that was assigned to work with me for my wedding because noone had contacted me. By then I had done all my research as to what I wanted for the wedding (decor, centerpieces, etc...), so once I got her email and phone number I emailed her pictures and descriptions of everything I wanted which got the ball rolling.

I was able to make some arrangements before that time because I went to the hotel last summer and did a site inspection. At that time I selected the venues for all of my events, did a cake tasting and obtained other general information. If you don't want to wait any longer and would like to start obtaining quotes for decor for your wedding you can always contact Caribbean Celebrations, they're an outside vendor that works with the hotel. I'm currently working with them and so far I'm happy. The hotel has their own in-house event planning/decorating company called Creative Punta Cana and you can try contacting them as well. The websites for both of these companies have been posted in previous posts.

Curious as why you are using an outside decor for your wedding? Cheaper? Also, how does that work? You have to pay a guest pass for them? Im doing the complimentary wedding, but would like to add to it. I thought of bringing some of my own stuff, but that might be too much of a hassel.

Hi everyone! Just wanted some advice if anyone can help me out I'd appreciate it. My fiance and I submitted a proposal to Hard Rock for May 18th about a month ago. 2 weeks later we got a message pretty much stating they got it and that I would hear from someone. Two weeks after that we got an email stating our time was not available. I have since sent e-mails requesting dates with the 4pm time we want and have called a couple times...now what?? We haven't even booked anything and its been a month. I'm just getting anxious and would like to know if any of you went or is going through the same thing. Thanks!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
