Thanks! This is so helpful

Would you happen to know Nancy ( the onsite WC) email? I just want to confirm with her that I am able to use Caribbean Celebrations for decor. I've been emailing them back and forth and they are so quick to respond and easy to work with, unlike Maylen and Renee. I really do hope I can use them for decor because I'm getting no where with these 2.

Thanks again,

If you want any other colors or a special type of linen, you'd have to pay extra.

Hello all!

My fiance and I are getting married at HRPC on May14!  I see that some of you will be there getting married in the same time frame!

We have had zero communication from our WC (Maylen) & are extremely frustrated.  Countless emails, phone calls (both to her and also through the hotel), posts on HRPC Facebook page....and still haven't gotten our questions answered.

Are any of you doing the civil ceremony?  I'm working on getting all the paperwork done, but since I haven't gotten response from HRPC, I figured I would ask here....

Regarding the translation of documents, does this include the wedding contract, declaration of single status, birth certificate?  Anything else?

We were happy to have found this site & this thread!!

Hey Ladies

I just recently booked my wedding for the Hard Rock for April 2013. I also have experienced a long lag time between emails from the wedding department. Also, i was wondering if anyone has had discrepancies in what the group room rates are? I was told one figure starting at 191 per person per night for a double in carribbean suite and now being told a different starting at 203 for the same room. I unfortunately didnt get it in email but would be helpful if any of you have run into the same issue? Please let me know!

Hi Ladies,

I am new to this forum. I have put in a wedding proposal request online throught the Hard Rock Punta Cana website. However I have not heard anything. Do you recommend I contact a travel agent to secure a date, or is there a contact number to Hard Rock Punta Cana wedding coordinators I can contact? What are your recommendations so I can secure a date and time.

Thanks in advance!

Kelly

Hi Ladies

Not sure if my last post went through?? I am new to this forum. I placed a wedding proposal through the Hard Rock Punta Cana website and I have not heard back from anyone. How did you secure your date and get a contract? Was there a certain person you contacted? Do you recommend I use a travel agent to secure my date? Any help or advice on how to secure a date would be fabulous! Thanks in advance.

Hey Kelly

It took a few days for me to get an email to get a date and i worked with Yamilla to get my date. I do not recommend her at all. She told me the date that I wanted was available and then never got back to me until I contacted a supervisor and she said the date wasnt actually available. I would try to call the office and follow up with them. Hope this is helpful!

I would recommend using a travel agent. I am currently using one and find it very helpful especially considering it is so difficult to get a hold of anyone. It just makes it easier to have another person whose sole purpose is to help you organize and plan and that also has had experience dealing with the resorts. She is the one who got our contracts to us and got everything set up and locked down for our date and it seemed to happen pretty fast.

To all those that are still deciding on where to have a wedding, at this point I would not recommend the Hard Rock. My wedding is next month and I do not have anything in place. I can never get a response back either from Renee or Maylen unless I contact my TA. This is ridiculous. I will write a full review after my wedding but at this point I have to say that I am not happy with them at all. I had to pay for my photographer to stay there even though he has already made his accomodation arrangement else where. So basically we're paying an extra $800 for him to be there. What I'm pissed off about most is that other brides are able to pay a day pass for their photographer. There are ton's on additional expenses that you will be paying for so please beware. They will tell you that everything is subject to change so make sure you have everything documented.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
