The Hard Rock Punta Cana

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know if there is only one ballroom in the resort? I'm working with caribbean celebrations for my decor and they need to know size of the ballroom I reserved. Renee and my new WC have not gotten back to me and it's been a week, and in my proposal all it says is requested, element terrace for cocktail hour and ballroom for reception, it doesn't specify which one. I was under the impression there was only one ballrrom??

So confusing!

Thanks! :)

Yea I know most resorts have more than one, so I did think it was weird when they only put "ballroom" in my proposal and since I haven't gone to the actual resort I had no clue, now I have to stalk Renee and my new WC Maylen to try to get this info :/ It's so frustrating that they don't get back to you right away or at least in a timely fashion.

I am thinking the Hard Rock is out for me. 3 hrs only for the unlimited party is ridiculous. I think if you are bringing that man paying guests you would get more than that. Nickle and Dime. I know every resort doest it but from what I have seen so far, Hard Rock is by far the worst. Same with how much it costs to go there. Their prices just keep going up if you have not booked yet, trust me. I truly hope everyone who is getting married hear has a fabulous wedding, I will still be reading the reviews! Good luck ladies!

Hi Ladies,

I see that I'm in the same boat as many of you. They too have changed my WC from Renee to Maylen. I had my phone conference today with Maylen, and I'm a bit more confused then I started. I'm getting the complimentary package, but it seems that if you want to bring anything extra, have anything extra etc... it's an additional cost. She could not provide me with pictures of the ceremony locations nor reception locations, so if anyone has them can you possibly share? I even asked about where my fiancee and I are getting ready for the ceremony. She stated that an additional room is not provided. We'd have to change in the same room, or use a guest's room!!  I think I will call the resort directly. My sister got married at the Palace resort in Riviera Maya and they gave her the presidential suite in order to prepare for the ceremony. Maylen did not seem to know the answers to many of my questions. :(

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
