It is April 12/12, wedding is on the beach, reception on the element terrace. 70 people.

Oh wow...that is awsome for you...everything will turn out great! Do you have a copy of the rate list for the salon i.e. hair, nails not the spa.....also has anyone seen the black lounge tables that are available for the reception I want to know if they are low to the ground?

I'm going to try to call Renee and schedule a conference call, I'm all booked and do have a contract for October 12, 2012, but still haven't heard from her, I know it may be a little soon but just have so many questions.

 

Did she mention anything on: if you want to bring outside vendors? I'm thinking of doing that being that their prices for decor were so much more expensive then me getting them elsewhere, or bringing them from home

@sunlover - We arrive on April 12 to punta cana. We wanted to have to the recpetion at the terraces too but only have about 40 ppls going, not sure if there's a min. requirement to book. I have a conference call with Renee tomorrow and from the looks of it, not sure what to expect from her. Are you using HDC as your photographer? Do you have anyone not staying at the resort and you have to buy a daypass for? Are you having OOT bags?

I have been going back and forth with Marlyn for the past week trying to make plans and get things together.  It looks like we are sharing our wedding weekend!  My date is October 13th.  I picked the insignia package because they said you can always upgrade it later on.  I'm really interested to see how things play out with the new collection since their have not been any weddings using the Colin Cowie collections.  I much more concerned about the reception than I am the ceremony.

I don't have anyone requiring a day pass & I am bringing my own photographer. I am undecided about the OOT bags bc I think it will be a lot to bring with such a large group (coming from 8 different cities/airports). As for the terrace, I think you can have it with 40ppl.

I will look for the price list for the salon that I was sent months ago. Although they may have changed the prices:)

Also, I seen the lounge tables (when we visited) & they were really nice. I don't remember thinking that they were low. Not sure if that helps...

She was very strict on the outside vendor issue. I was planning to get DJMannia, but she said I was no permitted, not negotiable. But, she wasn't concerned that I was bringing my own photographer (but she made sure he was a guest).
