ToyaToyaToya- She had family over there so she ended up shipping 8 boxes. I might do the same or send everyone with an extra luggage. I'm also looking into hiring an outside person to decorate. To rent from the resort is just so pricey! I hope to gather more info when I go in March! msnwink.gif

Thanks Toya! I do believe they touch up the pics but I haven't gotten my album yet so I will let you know when I get them :) I didn't do the trash the dress....the element terrace covered area is pretty big, we had 66 guests and we all sat comfortable under neath and the uncovered portion is huge so it will def. be big enough for the lounge set up and the dance floor, alot of our stuff was moved underneath the covered area because of the rain but then it was nice out so we had alot of room to dance....hopefully they will post the video on their website when its done and I can give you guys the password so you can see what i mean. It really is an amazing resort :) i hope you all enjoy your weddings!!!

Vinarum we are just saying he is a guest.. the  hard rock cant say they will allow you to bring your own photographer but they unoffically told me that if he is a guest then they cannot stop guests from taking pictures.. People definitely bring thier own photographers all the time. It wont be a problem. :)

hi all,

i'm new to the forum and thank you all for your info - it really helps. I have my wedding booked for 7/11/12 - can't wait. I looked at some of the pictures and videos from the ceremony location and it looks like it is all the same place for everybody with different colors. So far i've seen white, red and blue. Any of you knows how that works? When i booked my wedding i had to pick from Colin Cowie Wedding Collection. As i picked free one, i was told there will be no aisle and i will be walking on the sand. Is Colin Cowie Wedding Collection something new for 2012? Any idea?

Thank you all!!!

I was looking at some pictures and videos of the ceremonies and it looks like all of them took place in the same spot. The only differences were colors; i've seen white, blue and red. When i booked my wedding date i had to pick from the Colin Cowie collection. As i picked a free one, i was told i will be walking on the sand and there will be no aisle. Is this something new and the location will be different from what i ve seen so far? Any idea?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
